SHAPE RUN 2012.

i just attended my first run of the year 2012.

the last time i joined a run was, 3 yrs ago. Sundown 2009 
thats long.
p/s: OMG! i look so young then!! Oh god.

when i was young and i was crazy. ODAC friends wanted to go, hence i signed up for it. and i crazily went for it, on the following day right after a full day of 12 hours trekking in Malaysia, up to Mount Ophir.

i was crazy. i came back w flu and my legs were literally aching. and i cant even climb the stairs without support. mama didnt want me to go. but i lied to her i will walk, else i waste my $50 bucks and thats even crazier.

it was a night run. i completed it 1:26:33.38. and i am so proud of myself as i think back. even though i was feeling emotionally down then. nv a runner, just short distances of 3km max. :O

that was my first 10km.
and here i am joining my first run, 3 yrs down the road. HELLO SHAPE RUN 2012!

oh, did we say we missed the flag off time and we still have the mood to take photos!!???

WAHAHAHAHA.call us hopeless cam whores. LOL. epic max.

imagine this: we were probably the only few 10km runner left, cause flag off for 10 km is over. and here we are, still having the mood for photos!!! epic not!!!

everyone must be looking at us thinking we were crazy. a grp of siao-char-bo-s. joining runs with friends is so fun.

i keep screaming to emmy who was abt 3 mins behind me during U-turns pt, i will spot the tall almost ang moh looking woman and scream with hands in the air, "JIA YOU, WE ARE HALFWAY THERE!!!"

i thought i was too epic. god knows why i still have the energy to keep screaming.
i must have been the most epic woman in the day. -join forces with the motivators at the side-

Emmy is my running buddy and our pace were abt the same!! WOOHOO!

(she is also my running buddy for the Adidas King of the Road run and Great Eastern Women run! call us enthu and spontaneous.)

hey, we ended before the roads open and event ends despite being late!! HAHAHAH.

so proud of myself and us. WE BLOODILY MADE IT!
oh god. although my usual distance is abt 6.5-7km, but i only run at night.

the extra 3 km and the sun rising from the horizon is no joke.
i thought i alr feel like dying at the 2km.

the heat is killing me. T.T OMG. my hair were wet and i don feel cold air. its was hot stuffy air.

so i thought, shit. there is another 8km more to go.
DOOMED.

with God's grace and we all made it through. ending the race with pink rosy cheeks, with nature's most natural blusher.

chiong for my last 200m. OMG!!! my nightmare has come to an end. i am happy.
happiest time of the day: step over the line. OMG!!! -rejoice-

we were all glowing with radiance. towards a more toned body to look prettier, and most imptly, towards good health.

sweating nv feel so good. they tasted sweet for the effort and determination we put in. i am so proud we completed!! ACHIEVEMENT LEH. even though its just 10km. BUT WE COMPLETED IT! OMG. i cant believe this.

screamed for emmy when i saw her at the finishing line 3 mins ltr!!! oh my darling!!!

So proud of Noi! she completed the run and crossed the finishing line with emmy, even though she is sick. T.T she is so determined.

i cant hold it. sorry. i am too excited.

from doing reviews. omg, thats the best decision i ever made. to share and write thoughts abt a particular item bought online. honestly, that take courage. its not easy showing your face to the entire world reviewing stuffs.

from forums to twitter to WA. we turned from strangers to shopaholic friends to yoga kakis to running mates.
life cant get any better than this.


buddy and i changed and we both have telepathy. in light coloured tee!

all smelly, sticky, wet and ugly, we all team up tgt as one. for the running spirit!
for the motivation and enthusiasm, encouraging one another.

thats what friends are for -to be there for one another.

once again, WE MADE IT!
