And i have to admit, its shameful to blog it now. It was close to 3 months ago since I came back from my holiday. Better than never.
If you intention is to come here for a detailed itinerary, I am sorry, I don have.
In fact, I only know where I am going, the activity i am gg to do on the day itself. HAHAHA.
At least, I bothered to take brochures from Tasmania to refresh my memory.
Lets see what I can rmb for the next post.
This post is all about Sydney. Enjoy the photos. Photos and words makes it easier to blog. LOL.
Its a walk down the memory lane for me, as i revisit what i have seen and where i have been too.
I went in April, thats when Australia is having Autumn. Not that cold yet (or so i thought), temperatures are about 20-23 degrees in Sydney. Like aircon temperatures.
Anyway, Flying from Singapore to Sydney by SQ231, total journey time is about 8 hours.
Flight departs at 0045hrs so despite wide array of entertainment available inflight didnt come to good use cause we were busy being a pig. LOL. HAHAHA.
XX nv slp well during flights, but i reckoned the excitement of traveling makes him wide awake. LOL.
My idoitic XX says, this is a SEA OF MOSS. I wanna die at his ridiculous comment.
Finally, at Sydney at 1025hrs. Because we are flying to Tasmania the following morning at 5am, we stayed near the airport for convenience. Suppose you intend to go Tasmania, you can go follow my route. HAHAHA.
Exchange rate: 1AUD : 1.3SGD
AUD just dropped recently, making it worth while to head to Australia now! Why is it 1.3 when i go Aussie?!!?!?
Tsk. Generally, food in Australia is not cheap. They have got no food court. (or i should say i didnt see one?) Prices are abt the same as local restaurant range. That would be a good gauge for you to plan your expenses.
Facts that everyone should know.
In Sydney, there are no free train/bus transport for passengers transferring between T1 International and T2/T3 Domestic Terminals. Airport Link offers a $5.00 (one way, per person) transfer ticket and takes about 2 minutes and there are frequent services between 5am and midnight, 7 days a week.
(I find this policy ridiculous. I NEED TO PAY?!??!)
If you intend to travel from the airport straight to town, take the Airport link. Information can be found here:

We head over to Hotel Formule 1 to check in to deposit our baggage. Take bus 400 towards Bondi Junction, costs $3.50. Put down our bags and walk out to Mascot station about 1.3km away.
Saw this street and cant help but laugh.
Its not difficult to navigate around Sydney. Its just another concrete jungle like Singapore. Accessible and modern. Its Australia's Capital.
Tip: If you know you will return from the same station you will be exiting ltr, buy 2 way tickets. Its way cheaper.
Amazed by their 2 level trains.
Central is the interchange for other lines. Its complicated. When you are lost, just open mouth and ask for directions. Took the train to Central.
Sydney opera house is located at Circular Quay. But transportation in Australia is ex, so we planned and walked from Central all the way to the Opera house with sightseeing along the way,
Their skies got no clouds.
This reminds me of Bugis. HAHA.
The dog that gathered alot of stares from strangers.
See no evil. Hear no evil. Ask no evil.
I am evil. Are you?
Walking down the lanes in their Chinatown. In fact, Chinese are everywhere in Sydney. Bubbletea are sold everywhere. $5 a cup.
So not amazed by yet another concrete jungle. HAHAHAHA.
As the rest went into a museum, i decided to nua outside.
This look like a postcard. haha.
We need to pass through a hospital, another museum,
a park, (They look so sweet tgt.)
And we finally see it.
Hello, iconic attraction of Australia.
And the sky changes colour.

Walk over to Darling Habour.
I think my camera did a good job in capturing the lights. HAHAHA.
