MGG Femme Peplum tube top in Royal Purpl, Size M. 

i have always stay cleared of peplum tube tops, cause i find the proportions very wrong. this top totally gave me a 180 degrees view change towards peplum tubes.

i shall not assume, until i tried it myself. HAHAHA.




Material: made of highly stretchy material.  i thought it was a rather good material! the anti slip will come in handy, save the hassle and embarrassment of keeping pulling your tube up while walking/shopping.

best, i don think it will fur at all. HAHAHA. its not the usual viscose/polyester/lycra mix material.
it has a little mix of denim in it.
its not lined, but deep purple is dark and a very rich colour that is non sheer.
i love this royal rich purple colour shade!

Sizing: size M fits me good, not very tight. (but it will not drop) and there is hardly any pit fats.

if i didnt spend so much lately, i will just buy this top. LOL.

edit: saw it on BOS that starrycloset mentioned it. what she say is true. she managed to hit the crux of the issue why i always think peplum tubes make me have this misconception that the body proportions are weird.

cause, taller ppl will look weird in it. the proportions are wrong. i am 156cm.  in fact, i think the proportion looks pretty good on me. HAHA. taller girls, pls take note of this!

heng i got buy this top from the TCL website.

love the floral prints. no, i am not over the floral craze yet.
 i like anything floral, crochet and peplum. they are my weakness. you can say i am hopeless. LOL.

i always like red hues over blue hues. thats why, i don like the colours found in the blue florals top. HAHAHA.

flowers are meant to be RED.
well, you don find blue roses.. HAHAHAHA.

Sizing:  size M fit me good. (i am usually a standard size M sizing for BS standards) HAHAHA. i love the fit. and i love the fact that it comes with sleeves.

sigh at my pit fats. they are so visible in my LRH hooked floral tops!! -take my blazer in an attempt to cover them-

oh, i zipped the top half way before trying on, else i cant squeeze into the top. LOL.
like the LRH version, the hooks are fake. (thank god those are fake. LOL)

Material: its exactly the same material used for the famous LRH hooked floral tops. sad, but true, its prone to furring.

if you compare between the LRH and TCL piece, TCL version is more value for money. it cost $25 mailed, much cheaper than LRH of $28 mailed. (oh, i must say, for LRH, you got to top up for registered mail too. so that amounts to $30.24 mailed. which certainly do not exactly justify the price tag.)

MGG improved on the sizing and fitting after receiving feed backs.

Sizing: the sizing is made smaller now. (they made the hip measurements smaller) but i can still squeeze into size S. although size S will fit someone of waist 25" better, cause its a little snug on me alr. (trying v hard to breathe at waist) LOL.

size M fits me a lot more comfortable at waist. (i forget to take a picture though!)

Material: despite the lining, white is still sheer. nude undies is strongly recommended. material used is still the same; silk polyester blend.

This upcoming TVD dress caught my attention because of the elaborate embroidery found on the dress.
the cutting for the ptp is rather big.

i tried size S, its kind of tight.
but size M ptp looks big to be loose for me though. so i don bother trying.

the material is nth to scream of though! i shall skip this dress of the weird ptp cutting.

if you still don know my fetish for crochet now, you didnt read my blog long/detailed enough. i wanted to buy this top/vest during the launch, but i clean forgotten abt it.

nonetheless, i am kind of relieved i didnt purchase it during the launch.. and, as much as i love my crochet tops. (i really really love them!)

i have reached a stage where, they are not gg to be the ever lasting tops to have. (the LB walsh top is sort of lasting though!)
 

Sizing: its loose for me for size M. not a good cutting at all. even though the ptp is 16.5" across. while i understand its meant to be loose fitting, but i am someone who loves fitted clothes more. (the model seems to wear it loose fit too.)

Material: i got bought alot of crochet items before. the best crochet is my LB walsh top. i am not sure if anyone has it, but if you do. you will know what i mean by the quality of the crochet. HAHAHA. nth can beat that.

usually, those crochets i buy were made of the same sort of material. just different motifs/designs. this material is just the normal crochet you usually find. nth special to scream abt.

size S would have been a better fit for me. (:
as a top or as a vest.

Sizing: Size S feels a little restrictive when i attempt to button it. but, it feels more casual when unbuttoned though! (red is huat bright red)

Size M gives a very formal vibe when i button it up. like i work in a bank, a professional in a particular field or sth. HAHAHA. (navy is so dark, its almost black)

Cutting: due to my short body, i find this length too long for me la. which makes the blazer look weird on me.

Material: i tried this blazer after trying the upcoming MGG cropped blazer. truth is, i prefer the TVD material more. its more structured. (the minus pt is, its more rigid and hard) the material of the thick polyester cotton used seems to be better than the MGG one.

nonetheless, i still prefer the MGG various version of blazers available online. be it the cutting or the colours launched. they seem to suit my body and character more

love the cropped length! i am sorry but i have to be honest, short ppl like cropped length blazers so such you wont look as if you are swimming in the blazer. LOL.

love the fact that it has satin lining. because it will look soooooooooo much nicer when you fold the sleeves!

Colour: in a frantic moment to try the items and the yellowish lighting actually hinder my ability to differentiate if this is mint colour or sky blue colour. so pls, i have difficultly finding out myself, so don ask me what is the colour i tried. LOL.

nonetheless, REFRESHED is the word to describe the colour of this blazer.

Sizing: i am 16.5" ptp and a shoulders of, i dk.

previous blazers i bought were abt 15-16" across. (excluding sleeves)
i dont feel tight at shoulders or arms.

Material: this is chim. i have no idea. probably some polyester/chiffon mix. cause its kind of smooth. i think its the same material used for the gemma blazer too.

what attracts me is the crochet portion at the shoulders area.
so dainty.

haiya, anything lace/crochet attract me. i am so gg to sin at the upcoming ohvola launch. LOL.

Sizing: the sizing of this top runs big, the ptp looks bigger than MGG usual size S sizing. truth is, i am kind of stunned abt the top is fitted at waist to give a hour glass shape illusion.

its fitted at waist and then it flares out from waist down. the vertical lines at the front also helps to create that illusion. at that moment, i swear hourglass come into my mind. LOL. it would probably be more obvious if i didnt pair it with the belt.

Material: its like linen. a thinner version of the thick linen you have in the LB naleigh top. its white and there is no lining, so its logical to be slightly sheer. don ask me why you cant see my dark coloured bra here.

but ARGH! i didnt get to try the MGG peplum top!!! BOO.

so, i have been resting at home for the past week. full of energy and i shall go out!

i have an open wound that is stitched up 2 days ago. and the last thing on my mind should be seafood; and worse, sashimi. LOL.

but then again, i alr crazily ate prawns one day right after one surgery. (cause i don know what death is and i kept it a secret from mama. telling her = i know what is death straight away.) since nth happen to me, by right sashimi wont have an impact too. thank god, there is no by left. HAHAHA.

sometimes i think i really don know the word; DIEEEEEEEEEEE.
but, i really haven die yet, so i don know what is die anyway!

thank god, after keeping my fingers and toes crossed. i didnt have any worsening of wounds from all the intake of salmon sashimi.

thank again, sashimi is to be taken raw, so its super duper fresh. and hence, shouldnt have any bacteria.
or rather, i think it is. LOL.

i tried my best to console myself and then pray. HAHAHAHA. YEAH!

Material: the material is ok. its the stretchy cotton denim mix. thinner than normal denim, but not those super thin kind. you all should get it, if you are looking for a bandage style skirt, that is of thicker material and  with a aztec design. there are too many printed bandage skirt in the market that are made of cotton material.

Sizing: size M fits me perfectly.
but, i thought my tummy is too obvious in this, so i decided to give it a miss!! HAHA.
i certainly, don feel comfortable gg out in this, with my tummy protruding out. T.T oops.

TCL Florida Villa skirt, Size L.


i wanted to cart this skirt before i head over to KJ initially. but i am glad i decided to wait and try my luck to see if its available on the racks a not. heng i didnt buy.

Sizng: i cant fit size M cause my hips are too big. while size L fits my hips nicely, it left such a big hole at my waist, i am amused. LOL. else, i would have gotten it during launch!! LOL. i like the prints on the skirt!

Material: its the sort of the same material used as the AA aztec skirt, cotton denim blend.

ok. truth is, like what Jane mentioned. i thought this is a failed cutting dress. i am really not trying to be mean. but the cutting is just weird.

Sizing: i don think i can fit into size S. but the ptp seems ok, but the side ended up having a hole. i think the problem lies with the straps. its too long. hence the dress kind of drop down lower than usual, leaving a hole.
the waist is kind of too big for me as well. but that can be solved by wearing a thick waist belt.

Material: nonetheless, i thought the material is fab though! non stretchable denim and it comes with satin lining!! i hate cotton lining. LOL.

on second thought, i thought the prints were a little too much. too many colours/details everywhere. not very comfortable to look for long. especially when peach is so striking. or am i thinking too much. HAHAHA.

Material: Chiffon rayon. actually, i am kind of shocked by the material used. i always thought chiffon rayon material only comes in solid colours. Although its not lined, its not sheer at all.

i thought this is a perfect dress for the weekend. but i dont really fancy the thin material of chiffon rayon anymore and asym hem isnt really my style although i really really love my fishtail skirt, so i am giving this a miss as well!! i only like asym hem by the side, and not the back.

else, i think its a piece worthy to get! 

Sizng: slight loose at waist, but there is nth the sash cant solve. fits me nicely at ptp!! (:

size M fits me nicely at PTP!! in fact, i prefer the fit of the bustier top from AA than LRH. HAHAHA.
non padded, hence, a good fit for me!!! ^^

besides, its really easy to wear!!! the functional zip is in front, making it easy to wear and remove. unlike the side zip for the LRH pc. its much more difficult to remove the top!! LOL.

i wear size L comfortably. (:
there is only size L on the rack. so i tried on it and it fits nicely.
the skirt is stretchable!! hence, a comfy fit.

its not tummy hugging at all!!! sth i didnt expect for a denim skirt. HAHAHA. probably because i took size L. ^^
a perfect skirt to own. if i didnt intend to get the bustier top, i will just get this skirt!!! ^^

its the exact same floral denim prints as seen on LRH/HVV.
blogshop really need to stop launching the exact same floral denim prints. LOL.

Sizing:  comes in sizes S, M, L. it will fit everyone!! there are no side zip, only functional buttons at the front. so, it can be quite a hassle trying to button/unbutton them when putting it on!! ok la, unbotton the last few buttons can alr.

Girls with waist smaller at 26" will have to punch holes in the belt yourself!! i wore it with the tightest holes alr!

Material: its make of a very comfy soft denim!!

there is a side zip. and it totally fits my body curves!! not tight at ptp or waist.

BUT, my torso are kind of too short for it. the sleeves are seem to fall off my shoulders a bit. not sure if its my shoulders which are too big or too small. 0.o

its really a very pretty floral print dress!!!

SO!!! i have a craze for anything floral and bustier cut. i wanted to get another bustier top from LRH due to the prints and fit, but i thought maybe the similar design from AA could another alternative! (:

but, it all turn out to be a disappointment for me. it doesnt fit my body at all. but i thought the material and workmanship was rather good!!

Sizing: Size M is so big at waist for me, it as if i am wearing a pregnancy dress.

but if i were to try size S, which fits me nicely at waist but its ridiculously small at bust. my neh are not squashed, BUT it actually become flat/my boobs seems to "drop down". i have no idea why. XD must be due to the padded bust lor. cause the bustier cut cup doesnt fit me at all, the smaller ptp pushes my boobs down, making them flat. XD HAHAH.

the fact that its padded means you can go without bra. BUT, it does not suit ppl who are well endowed. because its padded, your bust wont be able to fit the padded cups nicely, and hence, giving a weird look.

all in all, it lies with the padded front. cause i don face this problem for my LRH bustiers.

i am convinced that the AA bustier tops wont fit me. oh, i tried the AA bustier top from the last collection too. my boobs look very weird in the top too. the padded cup are too small for me and its too way too loose bust down to be worn as a top. it will only look better with HW bottoms.

Material:  i actually think the cloth used is slightly different than the ones from LRH!!! this black floral dress i tried seems to be of a thicker material!! so its less prone to creases!!

anyway, in case anyone is wondering, the black floral prints is just as nice as the white floral pc!!

all in all, i think its really just me with the facing this problem. girls who are well endowed, skip this dress. a larger size is likely to be too big for you at waist!!

suppose if there is a way to remove the padding, its another staple in the wardrobe! (:

HAHA. our first meetup was in a korean restaurant.

so the second meetup will be at a restaurant too.
and we reached a consensus that the next korean restaurant will be either togi/2D1N.
until, we finished trying the nice korean restaurants in the CBD area. LOL.

it is always fun and enjoyable meeting up my girlfriends. say YEAH.

kimchi makes me detox SUPER fast. i can do big business twice a day. LOL.

i will definitely order this dish whenever i visit manna. ask them to cook it for you. i have tried pork and chicken before. and its very nice!! (its lean meat pork, not the belly pork)

BBQ pork. its a tad salty. but it goes amazingly well with rice!
its the best out of the so many korean dishes i have tried islandwide.
 and i can confirm you will love this dish. LOL.



korean kimchi pancake. honestly i don understand why flour + kimchi need $16.
i might as well order 2 plates of BBq meat. LOL. so you all don order!


some korean meat stew w lotsa kimchi, tofu and pork belly. but personally, i think togi makes better spicy stew!! HAHA.


and then it was a mini reviewing time! MH, YT and valerie bought the LRH scallop blazer in white!
and i tried it on the spot. a tad small for my shoulders and the button feels like flying off when i attempted to button it!! HAHAHA.

its pure white; like your A4 printing paper.
and the lining is so comfortable! OMGOMGOMG.

its TGIF today!!! made an impromptu decision to head town after work!
shopped for shoes and tie for XX's grad night before settling down for dinner at this new Japanese ramen restaurant at Raffles City shopping centre.

its very near to locate the restuarant! its right beside forever new.
and OMG! i step into forever new for the first time of my life, and i am shocked by the apparels the bring in! the awesomely, OMG-ly, gorgeous workmanship and quality of their clothes totally WOW me.

and the price tag too!! but it worth it. LOL. 

truth is, i didnt wanna go there. i start to think that ramen are a total waste of money. just boil the soup for hours, then dump noodles and vegetables and meat. LOL.

but xx is determined to bring me there tonight. HAHAHAA.
and we got a shocked of our life when there is at least 30 ppl in front of you in the queue. OMG.

god knows how long we queued before we finally managed to secure a table!

the egg is not nice at all. FAIL. the soup is salty for my liking. ma chiam, OVER BOILED.
too rich, too flavourful. 


dry ramen with white base (taste slightly weird. the black based soup is nicer!) you add your ramen into the soup.


and guess what, there is free upsize for ramen for the dry versions. (not for the soupy versions though!) and we crazily upsized X3. (free up to X5 ramen!) and our noodles are filled to the brim. 0.o

i suggest you don be greedy and ask for X5 upsize. then risk vomiting right after dinner.
X3 is just nice.




my appetite increased so much, i finished my ramen and continue stealing his ramen and eat.
i probably ate 1.5 bowls today. HAHAHAHA.

its meant to be worn loosely. there are a row of functional buttons at the back, but you need not unbotton them in order to wear it!

instinct tells me mama will probably like this!! i shall camp for her once she give me the green light that she likes this top once the preview is out!
 

this upcoming launch by Megagamie is absolutely detrimental to my wallet. XD
