anyway. there is really nth much to do at batam, except to spend money and nua.
its so nua, it a very good break from all the stress u are experiencing at work.
i actually miss batam for all the nua-ing i experienced. HAHAHA.
i love staying in hotels.
munching on chips while watching HBO and movies, switching channels till you find sth u like, the clean white bed sheets, super thick comforter, blasting air con, comfy pillows and mattress, slp till your body tells you to wake up, wash up and go for buffet breakfast.
p/s: when gg batam, ppl usually stay at holiday inn or harris. holiday inn is the more expensive hotel between the two.
but these 2 hotels are the furthest from the town/shopping area, as its the closet hotel to the jetty.
(holiday inn is at waterfront city, the town/shopping area is at nagoya. now you know how far they are from each other. its at least a 30 mins ride)
as such, i suggest you join tours in batam. i don think hotels provide the service of bringing you to the town area. LOL.
else you can always choose to stay at 2/3 stars hotels at the town area. (:
(but, there are hardly anything to shop at the shopping malls!)
i love the fact that 2 versions of pillows are given. perks of a 4 star hotel.
i took the soft pillow, XX took the hard pillow. LOL.

in an attempt to try sth new to celebrate our 3rd anniversary, we head over to batam.
so, at 830am, my XX asked, "passport pls."
to my horror, i said, "oh no, i leave it at home."
either i said it too calmly, or i joked too often, XX thought i was just pulling his leg.
until he realise, i wasnt playing.
well, he used to remind me whenever we go overseas. cause i always rmb to bring.
but not this time. and i didnt bring. LOL.
HAHAHAHA.
OMG. i just attempted to go overseas, without a passport. i conveniently left it at home.
good job done veron. LOL. full of surprises; i am no 1.
the time is 830am. i need my passport at 930am to board.
GG-ed.
i am gg to miss my ferry boat ride and there goes my $127 per pax. LOL.
called mama immediately for help.
and got a scolding from her instead. for not bringing the most impt thing.
HAHAHA. mama managed to rush my passport to habourfront in the end. hurhurhur.
mama said, " you are so hopeless, i am amazed and amused."
oh wells.
i am so confident mama will be able to deliver my passport to me on time, i actually still have the mood to take photos. HAHAHA.
sometimes, i am truly amazed by myself.
guess what, we are in couple tee that day!
XX commented that, "we only wear couple tee, once a yr; when we go overseas." LOL.
and its such an expensive couple wear. i think its $48 per set. LOL.
hooray! mama delivered my passport and i board the ferry!! or should i say, boat. LOL. we are still early lor. in fact, we waited for 30 mins. HAHA.
not too bad, i live up to my name of being a pig. i still managed to slp in the boat for an hour despite the bumpy journey. LOL. i am really slp anywhere. tsk.

since its on a weekend, our tour grp is kind of big. HAHAH. thank god its a bus, and not a van. LOL.

and got cheated. cause its more expensive than outside. the tour guide earn commission by charging a higher price. nvm, since its nice.
if you guys have a chance to visit the shopping malls, don buy anything (like kueh lepis/cakes) when the tour guide ask you. shopping malls sell way cheaper. don worry, its equally nice de.
headed for lunch! all the 933, 955, 555, all same boss ok. doesnt matter which branch you go. LOL.
food served is pretty normal. edible, okay only. since meals are included, i shall not commented much. LOL.
but, i don think its nice at all, if i come all the way here and pay for it. LOL. HAHAHA.
the best part is, there are so many dinners that afternoon, the waiters and waitresses mixed up orders, we got double servings instead. say yeah. ^^
double fish, double prawns, double vegetables.
its my first time trying this Japanese clams. nv like to eat these, cause mama doesnt allow me to eat them. she very scared we all get hep A from eating all these uncooked/dirty/mis-handled shell seafood. LOL.
i swear i summoned a lot of courage putting this in my mouth. the tail is slightly black and pointed. and meat is brownish in colour. i almost, almost find it hard to swallow it down. LOL.

visited this place right after lunch, where it featured all the mini houses in Indonesia.
he learn all the craziness from me. LOL.
and he learn how to cam whore too. LOL.

yes, the overpriced honey combs/keropok were from yong heng. and a can of jia jia liang teh from all my sinful keropok intake. XD

well, holiday inn hotel is situated in a v v ulu place where there is hardly any restaurants.
and food at the hotel is very expensive, so i suggest you all to buy food into the hotel so that you wont go hungry.
i swear, the ABC mi goreng is damn niceeeeeeeeeeeeee.

we were being upgraded to a 2 room suite.
HAHAHA. like, for what use. LOL.
there is sofa.
balcony. i wanted to sit here and enjoy the night scenery. but, there were mosquitoes. T.T
2 toilets, since there are 2 rooms.
i sleep at 10pm. HAHAHAHAHA. i tell myself i need to slp early and hence i sleep at 10pm, after watching the chronicles of narnia. LOL. wanted to watch too fast too furious, but i fell aslp half way. LOL.
and wee!! undisturbed slp for 11 hours!! i love to bury myself in the blanket/pillows with blasting air con. XX so scared i will suffocate myself in the middle of the night. LOL. HAHAHAHAH.

so many different kinds of cereals! and i spot my favourite. koko crunch. i hate how some hotels cheat by giving fake koko crunch. LOL.
i only like honey stars and koko crunch. but XX decided he needs to try everything. and ended up, ewww. he didnt like some of them.
all kind of jams/butter for you to choose from! orange and pineapple jam are new stuff. LOL.
OH, they have vegetable butter de leh. good for your heart. HAHA.
