ZHUHAI.

all right!

lets continue with my trip in may july. (omg. when is this gg to end with my slow poke blogging skills?)

thank god. i didnt take photos in china! i honestly find no mood to take photos anyway!

that my family with my future da sao! unfortunately. that is the only time i use my tripod. LOL.
Photobucket

IN MACAU. my 4th time in Macau! this is so crazy. i wanted to go fisherman wharf and take photos, but i nv succeeded. LOL. go 4 times alr, still no chance to go leh. this is really so WTF. seriously.

cause it was drizzling that day. and i don want to risk my lens getting soaked in water. LOL.

i think i visited all the major casinos in Macau alr leh. LOL.
here galaxy hotel! which opens in May. XX and i wanted to go there, but we didnt have the time. xx is tired after not slping for a day. LOL. (note to self, nv take 6am flights. 0.O)

how can woman be so pretty. 0.O
Photobucket

Photobucket
other than that, galaxy hotel nth to see de.

just go venetian hotel la. you will go, WAH WAH WAH by the decorations.
its SOPHISTICATED, LIKE A PIECE OF ART.

i wonder how much they spend on the decorations! LOL.

head towards ruins of st paul.
and stop by my favourite restaurant! ; Wong chi kei restaurant in Macau.

Photobucket
this is taken in may.

BUT! this restaurant received some very famous reviews from someone, its packed to the brim when i went in July.. the queue was super duper mega long.

my bro waited for 1 hour for a seat during the weekend. 0.O
we waited for 20 mins during weekdays.

咖喱牛腩 rice
Photobucket
awesome. i still love it. despite eating so many times. LOL.

don order noodles dishes hor, not very nice.
but rice dishes served by them is usually very nice. (:
if you wanna order anything, order it with rice.

erm, i ordered some prawn rice with egg 2 yrs ago. and it was very nice!

Photobucket
some squid dish my papa order. don order k! it wasnt very fresh. 0.O

IN ZHU HAI. (stay in yong tong hotel! i stay there 3 times alr.)

(Singaporeans do not need visa to go from macau to zhu hai. Malaysians need to purchase visa to enter zhu hai from Macau. ($60 SGD for one entry. it will cost more for multiple entries. do get your visa done before gg. i think its $100 sgd?)

things to do in zhu hai:
do medicure/pedicure if you want.

but! i am not a fan of colouring my nails. cause, i find it a hassle to remove the colouring. (i don think i am a woman? which woman don like to colour their nails. LOL.)

i do for the sake of removing dead skin instead of adding colour to the nails. i coloured my nails cause, since do medicure so nice alr, don colour it, a bit liang fei. LOL.

dry skin = alot of dead skin.

you have no idea how much dead skin i have on my heels. they crack often and gosh, the next thing i know, i cant walk properly.

LOL.
so i got to do pedicure often. (i only do in JB though! much cheaper to do there than in sgp)

should you go china, go do pedicure. cost abt $3 SGD only. (excluding OPI. add $2 SGD for OPI.)
medicure cost abt $2 SGD.

BUT! if pedicure is not your kind of thing. but you wanna remove dead skin.

there is this new service in zhu hai. (and alot of other places in china. cause they have a lot of branches)

for $5 SGD, you get a foot & leg massage (super shiok) + nail cutting + remove your dead skin on your heels + a mini back and head massage too.

the entire session last for abt one hour.

they remove the entire white part of the nails. do not ask them to cut your nails if you are not comfortable with it. oh, they don use nail clipper de. they use a knife like thing. so amazing. LOL..

its a waste that i didnt managed to find this shop in may! LOL.
else my xx can go there for leg massage alr!

AND HOR, don think that massage in china all very dirty pls.
i did a consecutive 2 days of massage in shenzhen.
its 2 hours of solid full body massage for just $14. (!!)
don do = instant regret. LOL.
0.O
damn shiok de.

rmb to wash and cut hair in china!
for $4 you have a 45 mins head massage (damn shiok) + shampooing your hair + blow dry your hair.

$5 for cut/wash/blow hair. (no massage)

shop if you want! there can be some pretty good deals! (:

of course, rmb, quality clothes comes at a price. (:

i have reach a pt of stage in life that, chui clothes = wear for what.

there are alot alot of chiffon clothes that cost $3 (!!)-$7, but one look you know, the workmanship is coarse and not good. and there is no inner lining. not sure if this is the kind of cheap deals you find in bkk? but i honestly don think its worth to buy? maybe its just me la.

HAHA! i went overseas this time round without buying much for myself. (!!)
mama eagle like eyes are constantly looking at whatever thing i touched. 0.O

"YOU GOT ALOT OF CLOTHES AT HOME ALR! YOU GOT A LOT OF SHOES AT HOME ALR!"

i don want to go overseas with mama again. everything also cannot buy de. my money also cannot buy. LOL.
hence, i bought a lot of nonsense back. (non clothes related. LOLs.)

talking abt this. i wont buy from HH anymore.
HAHAHA.

i don think see how many how many of their piece there alr.
should they nv change the material/workmanship used, else, its honestly not worth to buy!
(if the material/workmanship used is the same, i am shocked by the kind of stocks they take in! HAHA.)

ok fine. maybe its a different supplier. HAHAH.

not trying to say that china has no good deals. there is, good quality ones. but, you got to pay for the price for the quality you are getting. logical right.

even though sometimes i wonder, who on earth can afford that?! like $40-$50 a dress. 0.O
i feel like telling them, "GO AND DIE. i am not a carrot."

with their standard of living, i cant help but wonder, the majority wont be able to purchase such clothes. (even with clothes that cannot bargain.)

still, i think the good quality ones, are still cheaper than Singapore la (if you know how to bargain!! just cut half.) HAHAHA.
just don get conned into buying them at a hefty price! (:

its very very easy for them to know you are Singaporean.
cause, its natural for us to speak in english + chinese UNKNOWINGLY.

to them, Singaporean = rich. (its X5 in money! $1 SGD = $5.21 RMB)
LOL.

things to eat:
hmm, from the zhu hai customs, take the escalator down to the underground mall. turn 90 degrees to your right.

walk towards the inner most right lane. thats the food lane.
restaurants are situated there.

there is this japanese restaurant called 一级棒寿司.
sells AWESOME FOOD.

was very skeptical abt ordering this sashimi.
cause, i am very very prone to liquify poo. HAHAHA. anything that goes into my mouth needs to undergo some very serious consideration of whether its clean and hygiene a not. 0.O

Photobucket
tested and proven by my weak stomach that it can be eaten.

and that big plate only cost $8 SGD. hahaha!!
it was on 50% off.

i tell you hor. ITS DAMN NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

they nv clever you know. to ensure the sashimi is fresh, it was a big bowl of ICE below the sashimi. they put ice inside the bowl, wrapped it and put the sashimi on top!

but. the sashimi is so nice, it doesnt take long for us to clear it. LOL.

thats my mama's first japanese don. she nv like jap food.
but this don make her change her mind.

super nice leh! abt $5.50 SGD. i like love the rice.

yeah! onions! *steal all her onions*
Photobucket

thats my bro favourite food.
eel with sardine sauce. also damn nice. cost abt $5.50 SGD too.
Photobucket

just spend $100 RMB at the shop, and you get their membership card that entitles you 10% off the next time you visit them.
this restaurant is found in guang zhou too! (:

ok. i got 2 days to slack before i do my next entry!
omg.

its so hard trying to honour my promise. LOL.

Guangzhou trip. things you need to know! (:

couple tee! ^^
Photobucket
everyone were looking at us when we were in guang zhou, like we are aliens. 0.O

stayed in hotel elan. furnished with very sophisticated furniture.
but! hotel elan is very ulu from the MTR.

i stayed at the wholesale area, where shops close at 6pm.
so its literally a dead town at night.
kind of scary to return back, esp when our hotel is kind of far from the MTR! LOL.

so! my xx book the hotel next to the MTR when i am gg in July with mama. LOL.

what i wear: Closetouttaspace The Safari Romper in NAVY

wah lao. my tan line is so obvious. its been a few mths alr lor! still nv fade away. 0.O
have been swimming at night ever since i saw the tan line. tsk.
I SWEAR, I WILL NOT SWIM IN THE MORNING ANYMORE.

my xx look like octopus leh. LOL.
Photobucket

Photobucket

i love thissssssssssssssssss! (:
i look so hei pi! ^^
Photobucket

Photobucket

HOW TO GO GUANGZHOU(GZ) FROM ZHUHAI.

To Guangzhou by bus. 3 possible destinations are Liuhua bus station (流花车), Guangzhou bus station (汽车客运) and Provincial bus station (省汽车客运). all these bus stations are within walking distance to one another.
Purchase bus tickets from Gongbei coach station 拱北汽车总站.

there is a 10% off ticket total price if you stay at yongtong hotel 永通酒店. the hotel is right beside the bus terminal.

Present the coupon to the counter staff, pay them and get the bus tickets! simple.
the bus ticket will show you your bus destination.

When i went in may, the bus stop at the provincial bus station (省汽车客运站).

cost: RMB $68 per person per journey. (after 10% discount)
total traveling time: 2 hr 30 mins. (no toilet breaks)

bus interval of every 10 mins from GZ to zhuhai. HAHA.
no need to buy tickets in advance, just purchase tickets when you reach the bus terminal.

a bottle of mineral water is given free.
very easy to go de la. ^^

clothes are generally cheaper in GZ than shenzhen, but quality isnt good la.
(you pay for the quality of clothes you buy.)

you cant expect sth $5 SGD to be of good quality right.
we need to be practical a bit. LOL.
seriously, might as well don buy. HAHAHA. i think la. loose threads everywhere, quality so chui, even if its cheap, might as well don buy. LOL.

good quality clothes come at a hefty price.

should you want to go, consider gg to 白马服装批发市场.
they entertain single piece sale.
things are cheaper there too. (:
not ajuma fashion k!
cater more to youngsters, japanese-korean fashion.

don bother gg the top clothes clothes underground wholesale centre la.
广州地一大道(亚洲首席地下服装展贸.)

its very ex, even if you buy in bulk. LOL.
they don entertain single piece sale.

go 上下九街 for shopping! it is something like a night market. Things are cheaper, food are all over the place. There are stores and shops on both side of street, stretching over 1km.

How to go: 上下九街

Changshoulu station 长寿路, exit D2. walk in the direction of the traffic flow along Bao hua road 宝华路 then turn left to DishiFu road 第十甫路 . walking further straight brings to the Xia Jiu Lu 下九路 first, then continue walking up, leads you to shang jiu lu 上九路.

this is their main shopping area. sth like the Singapore bugis street.
things are cheaper. shop closes at 10pm?

that is probably all that you need to know abt GZ! (:
the rest is probably too chim for you to know.
and i don think you have the time to explore!
so, no need to know. LOL.

just walking through this 2 areas take you 2 days liao.

p/s: some shops can bargain, some shops cant.
if you feel that its ex, then don buy. should they ask you to come back, means can bargain.
usually if they say cannot bargain, the price is not ridiculously high de la.
but if you think its ex. you can always walk away. (:

hong kong entry. dim sum place.

celine from closetouttaspace told me to visit this dim sum place when i was in hkg
did a review with them before!! here!

its called,
Photobucket
honestly, its not for the faint hearted to go.
and i don think its worth the time to go! just go chao inn. all of us reach a consensus that, MIGHT AS WELL GO CHAO INN MAN than to come here.

not that is not nice. it just wasnt worth the time to queue for an hour!
when, the standard and pricing is more or less the same as chao inn..

seriously, just go CHAO INN la.
its atas, available almost everywhere!!! not super ex too. but alot of nice dim sums!!

back to this dim sum restaurant.
the first time we went there, probably 1030am? its opens at 10am.

there was a crowd. a crowd of 15 odd ppl buzzing outside the restaurant.
Janice went and ask, the waiting time was a ridiculous 2 hours.

wah seh. obviously and naturally. we walked off.
although we had ample time to tour around hkg, waiting for 2 hours for brunch is no joke. LOL.
we must be crazy if we were to wait for 2 hours lor.

the second time we went there. 10am.
the queue was like 20 m long? like, 50 ppl ahead of you.

WAH LAO. sian max.
want to eat dim sum also sooooooooooooooooooo difficult.

obviously. i am damn pissed.
i don know what is so nice about this dim sum that soooooooooooooooooooo many ppl is queuing for it. LOL.

SO WE ARE DETERMINED TO RETURN THERE THE FOLLOWING DAY.
die die die, DIEEEEEEEEEEE also want to eat.

hence, we went there the third time.
we reach there 910 am in the morning. 50 mins ahead of the opening hours. 0.O
in case you are wondering if that is way too crazy.
there are like 6/7 ppl ahead of us alr. LOL!!!

HA! and, you must take into consideration that, some ppl queue first, the rest of the group arrive ltr. LOL!!

but in the end, i realise the queue was so insanely long was because, the restaurant is rather small. can only seat 30 ppl MAX at one go. 0.O

50 mins is a long waiting time. hungry much, xx and jason went to hunt for food. LOL!

which left the 3 of us to play with the camera.

trying to show how big cy chest is. LOL!!! but i think it contrast our skin tones more!
Photobucket

some stupid things i always do with cy. LOL!!
Photobucket

with janice's tw dress.
say hello to my CL rose embroidery Sleeve Dress! love it. (:
Photobucket

top 10 items to order.
NO. 6 IS ABSOLUTELY LOVE. ITS HEAVENLY. I HAVE NV EATEN ANYTHING THAT NICE.
ok la, maybe thats exaggerating. i have eaten alot of heavenly nice things. no. 6 belongs to one of them. HAHA.
Photobucket

what it is said in the article makes sense. to eat heavenly food. you need to have patience . thats the queue at 940-950am?
Photobucket
now you know why we only managed to eat it at the third time? LOL!!

this photo so nice!
Photobucket

all right! then it was 10am!!

woohoo!! and we went in!!
THE FIRST THING EVERY SINGLE ONE DID WAS TO TAKE OUT THEIR CAMERAS AND TAKE PHOTOS.

i am so amused by it. more often than not, i am the only one taking photos.
HAHA!!

so you know how special this restaurant is a not. its definitely not easy to get a seat here!! like, a once in a lifetime thing. LOLsssssssss. so it became a massive photo taking session.

hence everyone started taking photos. 0.O HAHA.

certificates.
Photobucket

things we ordered.
Photobucket
excluding 2 take aways that was not shown here.
in case you are wondering, more often than not, we are the table with the most no of food.

because there is 5 of us. there is one poor thing fellow who shared table with us.
we have SO SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much food, there is hardly any ANY space for him to put his food. LOLssssss.

*in hurry mood to stack all the dim sum up. clear plates for space*

fret not, you can re-order the items you want, despite the crowd. (:

just order WHEN you are eating your food. NOT AFTER you finish your entire table of food.
else they give you black face. cause the queue outside is very long.
thats what we did. oops. in the end, we too pai seh, decided wait outside the restaurant for their take away instead.

and i think, everyone needs to be seated by 12pm for the morning session. then they close shop for the afternoon batch. LOL!

Photobucket

i scared i become more dumb eating this leh. >.<
Photobucket

Photobucket
