Here's a layout i created over the weekend!
I was printing photos for my last mini album on Bali.
Out of random, i decided to make a scrapbook 12x12 layout.
I used to make 12x12 layouts and have alot ALOT of them. I am too lazy to hang up on the wall cause there's so many!
Currently, i like to make mini albums cause they take up less space.
I was inspired by an article i saw at Pinterest.
I really love it and decided to make one myself too!
One of the popular items to use is the Faber-Castell Gelatos to create a gradient background. I dont have gelatos, so i used my distress inks instead.
1. Have the colours of your distress ink choice ready.
2. Take your blender tool.
3. Blend the colours in a straight line.
4. Use a brush, wet it with some water to fill up the "gaps" and blend the colours tgt.
5. It should dry v fast. (i use a heat tool to expedite the process)
I love pink and red. Oh, lots of flowers as well.
HAHAHA.
Next, go and dig your scrapbook library for all the frames you can find!
From left to right:
1. I used my cameo silhouette to cut out the Polaroid frame as well as the flower/leave die cuts in the background from
iheartstudio.
2. The white and rose pink frames are from taobao.
Search 树脂 饰品 配饰 at taobao.
Pink frame from this seller:

(MWL and Papermarket sells them v v ex!)
3. Chipboard frame from
"My mind's eye". Jubilee collection
4. I cut out the cork frame using scissors. The flower cut out is from a piece of paper!
My scrapbook is not complete without some form of journaling now, so i added a journal tag below.
I have a tendency to fill up 3/4 of my layout.
So, i added washi tapes below the journal tag to "take up some space". Its shades of pink, of course!
I used my stamps to ink some images on the washi tape to include more details!
Have fun scrapbooking all!
