She said, "Yes, i do".

I did my proposal layout today!

#pinkandgold

How to do this?

  1. Cut file from TheCutShoppe; All hearts.
  2. Cut papers from your paper collection. I am using papers from "Save the Date" Terasa Collins.
  3. I used glitter foam sheet for the smallest hearts and a gold form sheet for one of the big heart.
  4. Chipboard from  "Save the Date" Terasa Collins/Becky Higgins Southern Wedding
  5. "Would you marry me" from Studio Calico Puffy Alphabet Stickers Gold Foil Baxter Collection.
  6. "21.10.14" glitter words from Heidi Swapp.

Crowne Plaza 4 June 2016.

We decided on the venue! Yay.

Tried to fit into my theme of pink and gold.

How to do this?

  1. On a blank pc of paper, ink your stamp with embossing ink (Versamark).
  2. Pour embossing power over the inked image.
  3. Use a heat tool and melt the embossing powder.
  4. Use watercolour and create your own background.

Material used:
  • "Save the Date card" from Teresa Collins "Save the date" collection.
  • "Gold glitter words" from Heidi Swapp
  • "Heart with arrow" from My Mind's Eye "Fancy that" ephemera pack.
  • Gold words "Crowne Plaza" words from My Mind's Eye "Fancy that"stickers.
  • Gold word "Hotel" from thickers!

It was a little colour for my liking, so i covered parts of it with my photo. HAHA.
Watercolour is so fun! (:

Stamps from Amy Tangerine, Taobao, Dear Lizzy and Paper Smooches!

Love is not a because, it's a no matter what.

Decided on my wedding gown vendor; Digio.

Shall blog abt this some other day!

How to do this?

  1. Use various stencils and apply gesso on it. I used a brush to apply my gesso here, so that the effects wont be so obvious.
  2. 3 paper dollies to decorate the background.
  3. Layer them with all sorts of pink paper!

What i used:
  • Flowers from Crate Paper "open book" colleciton.
  • Punches from Martha Stewart
  • Gold glitter words "Remember" from Heidi Swapp
  • Matt gold words Digio from Studio Calico"

  • Poolside solemnization at $300++
  • 12 bottles of wine.
  • Free tasting for 10 persons
  • A barrel of beer
  • Corkage waived for all wine
  • Helper room from 10 am to 2 pm

Our date has been locked (and it appears that this date is popular. rofl.). THIS IS IT.

While we wait for the wedding gown show to start.
 photo 330_zpshlol1q8d.jpg

I didnt take any pictures of the gowns.

2 reasons
  • I didnt see any that i like. Most are mermaid cutting and too revealing
  • It likely that those dresses wont fit me. What you like may not suit your body.

Lunch! The cake is so pretty! I wonder if our wedding cake will come in pink too.
 photo 334_zps3l22gb2n.jpg

The laksa is SUPER GOOD.
I asked Alina if this is in the menu. But no. LOL.
 photo 335_zpsouqgsalu.jpg

Wedding themes available:
  • White for the classic look
This was what i initially wanted. It will be easier to do my pink and gold theme. However, i dont like the fairy lights at the stage. It didnt seem to go well for a wedding lunch banquet.

Besides its seems bare and too white to me. I am honestly kind of worried that my mama will mind the a chinese wedding has so much white.

But, i decided that i should spend extra money on adding pink flowers just to fit my theme. So i skipped this. Budget. Budget. Budget.
 photo 365_zpsydba9jxl.jpg

  • Travel theme

Thankfully, there's alot of pink for this.
It comes with  red, yellow, pink roses. I told Alina to minimize yellow and red roses. HAHA.
I really don like the yellow roses. LOL. Remove all the yellow!!!!!
 photo 366_zps2qcwa9ta.jpg

In actual life.
 photo 363_zpsjyl0xm5k.jpg

Decorations that the travel theme!
I keep thinking how to incorporate my pink and gold into this travel theme. I have no intention to give more budget just to change my theme though.

I will just make do with whatever i have.
Like the pictures below, just put pink ribbons on the deco. Theres pink petals too. Still got alot of pink!!!!

There's a glamorous red theme too. i forget to take a photo of it.

Wedding table cloth and a sample of the wedding invitation card. Yay got gold!

  • Layout for your tables
A short march in can accommodate 28 tables.

A long march in can accommodate 25 tables. In addition, your guest sitting at the back may have a hard time looking at the stage.

You can have 4 tables to accommodate 12 person per table. Just add the cost accordingly.
Please note that the hotel will prepare bigger portion food for the 12 pax tables. Everyone gets the same amt of food, regardless of the table you are sitting. photo 370_zpsmtoec1qo.jpg

Bridal suite:

All the rooms are noise proof, to minimise any noise pollution from the taking and landing of the airplanes due to the proximity.

Anyway, i dont find the bridal suite very big la. LOL.

You can refer to the following pictures i took two years ago,
Nothing has changed.

My lover gave me her bouquet here. I caught it and i am gg to hold my ROM at the exact same place.
Oh so nostalgic. On so sweet.
Omg, how time flies.

Choosing a hotel.

Oh god. This is tough.

This is an expensive and impt decision to make.

Top most priority:
Budget
If this helps, i really wanna say, every wedding is special no matter what the budget is. (:

1. Find a hotel that fits your budget. If you don have the means, skip six star hotels.
2. Eliminate those that you cant meet their/your requirements for the number of tables.

Different hotels have different requirement for the number of tables. Do check if you can meet their minimum requirement! Don end up in a situation where you book a hotel which you love and can't meet the minimum number of guests. You will have to pay for the empty tables. That's OUCH.

Ballrooms:

You should only find hotels where you can meet their minimum number of required tables.

Some big/prestigious hotels have a few ballrooms w different minimum number of tables for each ballroom.

Big ballroom usually require a bigger number of tables. And big ballrooms are usually pillar less with a higher ceiling.

On the other hand, smaller ballroom have a lower ceiling/less grand/pillars blocking.

Lunch or dinner?

Lunch:

  • Cheaper.
  • Some ppl say you have to be prepared to make a loss for lunch. People have a tendency to give less ang bao for lunch too.
  • Cannot include ROM video for the march in as the videograhers dont have time to edit. I wanted it to be part of the event. Suppose i didnt get to play the video during the banquet, then it kind of defeat the purpose right. LOL.

Dinner:

  • Expensive.
  • However, my body cant tahan until a dinner banquet. I will be sleepy and moody at the end of the day cause i need to wake up so early to start the day with gate clash etc.
  • While many assured me that i will be high on adrenaline that day, my fears wont come true. Well, i know myself too well.

Against all odds, i decided to go for lunch banquet instead.

I will still have a videographer who will record down the gatecrash and short tea ceremony with my parents. My ROM video shall be kept for my own personal consumption. HAHA.

How many to invite?
Wedding is a happy occasion. I stay firm to my view that wedding is a private and intimate event. Only close friends and relatives should be invited. Why invite ppl who are gg to be emo and moody because they have to give you ang bao?

Keep your guest list small is one of the ways to cut "your loss" too.

Your genuine friends will be happy to share the occasion w you as well.

I told xx to ask his parents to give me the number of tables needed. I come from a small family and I don have a lot of close friends. But we still end up with 28 tables, at least. (I was aiming for 20 tables initially!)

We need a buffer of two or three tables, so that you can include friends you meet along the way etc. So the task was to find hotels that can accommodate 30 tables. (The min could be 20, 22, 25 etc. but should have the option to add more tables if needed.)

Ask yourself what you are looking in the hotel:
I have the following criteria when I shortlist my hotel:
  1. Price. (Obviously! Must fit budget)
  2. Pillar less and high ceiling. (This is super impt to me)
  3. Near MRT.
  4. Reasonable and comparable perks.
After a round of elimination and comparing the perks indicated in their brochure online, xx did a table for us to compare. Rofl. I almost go crazy looking at the pdf files. Really.

There aren't many hotels that have a high ceiling and meet my budget. Most high ceiling hotels exceeded my budget or i cant meet their requirements for minimum number of tables. In the end, we have 4 hotels in mind.
  • Crowne plaza
  • Conrad continental
  • Swiss Merchant Court
  • Carlton hotel. (They renovated their ballroom And reviews said the ballroom has super hot gg ceiling!)
Wedding date:
I have a specific wedding date in mind.
4 June 2016.
It's our 7th years anniversary. Or it can be 22 October 2016. That's the date xx proposed to me in Japan. However it doesn't fall on a weekend. So I am praying hard that 4 June 2016 is available.

Calculate wedding date?
I didn't go to a master to calculate a auspicious wedding date.

To each and its own, I nv believe in all these.
But I respect XX's family and told them that they can go ahead and take my particulars to count. I will consider that dates given thereafter. Haha.

They went and told me this after the consultation.
"The heaven book is not out yet. That being said, Year 2016 is not a good year to get married".
My house is getting ready and I can't afford to wait for another year. If year 2016 is not a good year to tie the knot, then technically no one will be booking the hotels. Therefore, rates will be cheap! But that didnt happen.

That's it. I am gg to choose 4 June 2016.

Email the hotels to make an appointment:
This is important. All couples will sign their hotel wedding package during roadshows. But on the day itself, you may be pressurised to sign the package as you know you wont get the perks again.

Make sure you love the hotel Give yourself time to consider. View the hotels beforehand. You can sign and pay the deposit on the roadshow itself.

You can tell the coordinator to lock your preferred wedding date. They will reserve the date for you till you sign on the road show.

So I started to email the hotels, hoping that the hotel's ballroom are available in the dates i wanted.
  • Conrad continental.
They took 2 days to reply my email and sent me a vague email. Their requirements and conditions are confusing.

I had to forward the email to my English pro buddy and she commented that it's not clear as well.
In any case, my preferred date is currently locked.

I sent them another email to clarify and they did reply me immediately. After that, I replied and asked for a date to view their ballrooms.

They replied me eventually, after THREE weeks and informed me that the email was sent to the wrong folder.

It sounds like an excuse to me. I didn't reply and rejected the hotel straight. Haha. These email exchanges didn't give me a good impression of Conrad and that's it.
  • Swiss merchant court.
I am seriously considering this hotel. The price is good and the perks are UNBEATABLE.

They replied a few days ltr and informed me that their ballroom will undergo renovation from end April 2016 to December 2016. I cant to afford until 2017 as it will clash with my house renovation,

Nonetheless, the thought of a new ballroom sounds really enticing.

Unless I were to do my wedding in April 2016. I thought it was a little rush for me. So I declined the idea.
  • Carlton hotel
I nv email them in the end. I had my NUS chemistry prom night there. To be honest, I am not very impressed w them. This shall be my last option.
  • Crowne plaza
 photo 378_zpszicfftgj.jpg

This is the hotel I wanted initially. But I eliminated it cause their ballroom is too small. I wanted a long march in, so I can only have a maximum 25 tables. Since I have 28 tables (crowne plaza allows 28 tables, but short march in), So I eliminated this hotel from the start.

At this point of time, we are running out of hotel options so I told xx if he can reduce his number of tables. AND HE DID. Yay.

We have 25 tables now. It's a risk to take. I can't invite more than I wanted to. Hahahahah.

I love the hotel when I attended Valerie's wedding. The ballroom has a high ceiling and offers poolside Solemnization. I dont like my ROM to be held in a room.

On 5 March 2015, I emailed them and their manager, Ms Alina Han replied me ON THE SAME DAY. The happiest news came when i was informed that my desired date is available!

THIS IS IT AND MEANT TO BE.

Fixed a date to view the hotel.
10 April 2015
 photo 164_zpstnvoaecm.jpg

Very pleased w my hotel inspection. Although truth is I didn't have any other hotel in mind alr. Alina told us the perks and said that we can sign at the road show at the end of the month if we wish.

Yes, i decided on my hotel by just visiting ONE hotel.
LOL.

Love at first sight. I fell in love with it 2 years ago.

A penny of my thoughts

Finally, today is the day.
We settled for the hotel i wanted.
Made payment for the $6000 deposit. (supposed to be $5000, but i wanted to earn cashback. HAHA)

One tick off. YAY.
More or less done, i hope.

I am just left with gown searching and the finding a JP.

Tbh, planning for the wedding is not a dreadful as i thought.
I foresee it being a nightmare and i hated it.

In fact, i kind of prepared myself that my dooms day is coming after i said, "yes, i do". Val and buddy keep telling me to enjoy the journey, its not as difficult as i thought.

ROFL. Well, i have seen hoorifying stories about stressful brides and how couple fight due to different perspectives, opinions, views, traditions and whats not. Its hard to think it will be easy.

I thought both our families cant do this together.
One more thing i learnt in this journey: Don assume. LOL.

I never thought XX's parents would be this easy-going.
Never. They seems v traditional.

So, i am counting my blessings. I can do away all these.
You have no idea how much it means.

My brother did away with alot of things. I never believe i am able to do the same.
HAHA.

Its okay, i am not complaining.
Perhaps XX did had a talk with his parents that i am not a very traditional person.

Last but not least, i cant be thankful enough for XX. He is so supportive in whatever decision i make.

I am a pessimist.
I know i dont look like one. But i do.
And i worry for alot of things. Like anything, even the slightest.

Thats why Val calls me the bridezilla. As far as i am concerned, i think i am an annoying bride-to-be. I worry over the slightest things.

XX is awesome though. He will analyse if i am thinking too much. If we are doing fine. And that i have made the right decision in choosing what i want.

Currently, it has always been what i wanted.
He left all the choosing to me. Its stressful in a way cause all the choosing and selection lies with me. But he wants me to get what i really wanted. (partly because he knows that i wont like what he choose)

This is my XX's way of showing that he is supportive in whatever i do.
I gave him the options and he eliminates.

At the end of the day, it will still be what i wanted.
Thus far, i havent seen anything that he says no yet.

(let it remain this way)

I cant be anymore thankful.
I am blessed and will continue to be.

I will blog about my hotel inspection some other day. I am tired after a long day. (:

Finding the wedding photographer.

Saying "Yes, I do" is the easiest part in the wedding planning stage.

Or maybe XX put in a lot of effort to plan for the proposal in Japan, Hakone. Afterall, he went for meetings secretly and nv expected that the weather in Hakone to be so bad.

I don know. But the next ste after "Yes, I do" is no less easier. LOL.

 photo P1030337_zpscrtb0rk7.jpg

Before i start writing down my thoughts abt the process.
(Its been about 6 mths since i said YES! I officially started planning in December 2014?)

Here's my word of advice:

 photo 11169131_10152858409006915_1898000411_n_zpshnknx089.jpg

It's seems really easy to understand and hard to comprehend (Its contradicts yes!!!) Everyone wants a memorable wedding. Once in a lifetime is a phrase that is too heavy on our shoulders.

The result is, we tend to focus on too many things. But there's just so many details and so many things to consider. We end up making ourselves tired and dreadful of this entire process.

Valerie has been offering me valuable advice and opinions. She also ask me to wake up too many times. Thank you.

Today, i tell myself, i wanna enjoy my wedding planning process. I have about 13 more months to go. Its seem too much, too little.

Let me quote this from Yahoo.

The truth of the matter is that while this is a momentous occasion worth celebrating, it's the marriage that will last, not the wedding day. Think about what you remember from weddings you've attended; chances are you won't recall what the centerpieces even were. What you hopefully do remember, and what you will hopefully remember from your own special day, is the love between the newly married couple and being surrounded by the people who are important to you, and that's not something you purchase.

Lets begin:
BUDGET.

Never take a loan for wedding.
There are more impt bills to come later in life.

Once you fix a budget, stick to it.
Do up an excel file and keep track of your spending.

Its good to make sure that you do not exceed budget for what you planned to spend.

Next step: Photography

Most started with finding hotel first. It will be another 1.5 yrs before my proposed wedding day. Most hotels have not come out with the rates and dates yet. That being said, you can start counting the number of tables you need and go to http://singaporebrides.com/wedding_banquet_pricelist.php to shortlist what are some of the hotels you have in mind.

I started looking for my photographer first. You can book the photographer in advance to lock the rates!

It took me great pain to find the right photographer for pre-wedding (PW) and actual day (AD).
Even the first step is difficult.

First question:
Singapore or Overseas?
Well, ask yourself what's your budget. Simple. Haha.

Second question:
Ala carte or Bridal studio (BS)?
Ala carte:
  • The social media allows you to know ALOT of photographers (PG) you nv know existed. It opens up your world. You realise wedding photos can be so nicely taken. This couple took their PW photoshoot overseas!!! How beautiful. They must be very rich. You go drooling over it. (i did. Haha)
  • Ala carte overseas is expensive. You have to pay for their air tickets and accommodation. Unforeseeable weather conditions, less control etc.
  • Its cheaper to go for Singapore Ala crate.
  • Going for ala carte also means, you source your own gowns for PW photoshoot and AD event/AD day photographer/Videographer. It will be a bomb. Everything adds up.
Bridal studio:
  • BS is MUCH cheaper.
  • Their package usually includes alot of stuffs and the prices are VERY competitive and attractive.
  • Go for wedding road shows as there are lots of additional perks. I suggest that you do homework before going for the road show by reading reviews/forums online. Dont succumb to pressurize and sign the package because you think those perks are worth it!
I know that i am definitely not gg for bridal studio.

You take the photoshoot with 5 different gowns. There's thousand and one photos taken that day.

If you give up the photos now, you will nv see it again. If you buy too little, the photographer is gg to give you a black face. Face the facts, you will not give up the photos. HAHA. BS earn by editing the photos and sell it to you.

Its really very hard to choose JUST 30 photos for your album. I value photos alot. To me, these are photos i take for my wedding when i am 26. I cant turn back clock. These are CRUCIAL and of importance to me. I know i will spend a bomb for my photos.

Either way, i am doomed. I am prepared for a hefty bill. (Unless you are really determined.)

Is it really that cheap? Maybe not so, for me.

Korea/Korean Bridal studio:
 photo 7w5s47q1C3Ab7BzjLBiydyWzdAOryO_zpspjq713yq.jpg
Image from Chungdam Studio. Love this photo alot.

Although i must say i am very tempted by the Korean style shoots. I know i am contradicting myself. Korean style photoshoot are taken in bridal studios.

Then again, everyone used to go gaga over Taiwan pre-wedding shoots. In 2015, everyone flock to Korea due to K-POP. Nowadays, the trend is to go for Korea style shoots.

That being said, i genuinely think Korean style photoshoots are really nice. You can do so by doing one of the following:

  1. Find an agent in Singapore and go Korea for the photoshoot. (Ie. K wedding/White link bridal etc)
  2. Liaise with the bridal agency in Korea and fly there directly for the photoshoot (Jamie from Chungdam Studio)
  3. Find a Singapore Bridal Studio that does Korean style photoshoot.

I am gg Korea in November 2015, and hence i am toying with the idea 1 and 2. I read the forums and noted that the cheapest to take PW shoot in korea is to contact the agent directly.

You may Goggle Chungdam Studio and find the reviews. Check out the backgrounds for 2015!
I prefer the 2014 ones though. HAHA.
http://www.thechungdamstudio.com/list.htm?gallery_type=2

Tbh, the rates that they offered fits my budget. 3 million won for 1 day of indoor and outdoor photoshoot. You will get the original soft copies(about 600). Its really a good deal.

There are other perks given to me, but i shall not share them for confidentiality as they keep changing. Jamie reply your emails very fast anyway. Just email her! (:

Jamie's Email: flake7@nate.com

I even emailed a girl about her thoughts abt her pleasant experience with Chungdam studio. She is really v nice and patient with me. Thank you!

But i didnt go for it in the end. She said she is not concerned with the gowns, but for the background and the overall feel of the photos.

I cant accept the short gown selection process. I have abt 30 mins to choose the gowns for the shoot.
(I went for the gown trying session with Bridal Affairs and realised that i am very particular about gowns.)

I know i cant do it in 30 mins.
The gowns i tried at Bridal Affairs are all chio. But its not THE ONE yet.
You just know if its THE ONE.

I spent hours in the shop but only like 1 gown. Cause i am very particular. LOL.
I cant assume i am gg to like the gowns given to me to try from Chungdam Studio. Its more like, I am forced to choose this gown.

You can pay for a nominal fee to visit the studio a day beforehand to try though!
I dont think i can accommodate another day in Korea for that. My tickets are alr booked.

Third Question: (After answering one and two)
Budget
Yes, wedding is all about budget.
HAHA.

After i have focused on Ala carte, i need to hunt for a PG to take my PW, i started to email those PG i have in mind.

Usually, you need at least 3 photographers and here's the rough breakdown. Prices depend on your budget and the photographer you find:

Pre-wedding Photographer (PW PG) - $2,000
Actual Day Photographer (AD PG) - $2,500
Actual Day Videographers. (AD VG) - $2,500
Total: $7,000

And these excludes the price of the gowns/suits. Are you feeling the heat yet!
(BS only cost $4,000 including gowns/suits and PW photography. Some even comes with AD PG!)

Its cheaper to find packages that offers a bundle.

For example,
A special price if you engage the AD PG and their partnering VG tgt.
Or best, you find a photographer that settles both your PW and AD tgt, and engage their partner for VG.

After emailing a few PG and comparing prices/perks, i decided on my first choice.
 photo mLw7ymEMWp_zpsypgvh5z9.jpg

Before i said "yes", I fell in love with their sunset shoots. I tell myself, i am gg to shortlist Pixioo.

 photo 376a2485_zpskdwri3ql.jpg

I am sticking to my choice. (Of course, it also after a careful and serious thought after looking at the price and perks.)

I am really happy with my choice and i am not looking back.
I told Samuel that i am gg to have depression if the weather aren't cooperative that day.
 photo 376a6358_zps77erux8d.jpg
I don know why i love these orange tones from sunset so much.
I love them and hoped i can have such weather when i took my photoshoot with XX 2 yrs ago. Sadly, the weather arent cooperative.

I hope it will be good when i take mine.
These are so pretty.
God, please nice to me.

Winda's wedding gift.

Hi, sharing on my blog one of my favourite layouts to date!
But, i am looking for ways to improve on the design! HAHA.

It used to be my mama’s favourite, until I made the Carousel. Will share the carousel the next time round!
I enjoy making alter projects a lot. Its more 3D. ROFL.

Scrapbooking tends to be a little “flat”, even though i know my style is nothing close to that.
I enjoy making my stuff pop out for the “wah” visual effect. In fact, it seems a little chim for me to make things flat. I am very comfortable with my current style and doesn’t fee like changing it.

I wanted to try to do Project Life, but the layout of everything-has-to-be-flat-else-cannot-put-inside-the-pockets kinds of turn me off. Besides, it will take a lot a lot of determination to perseverance to complete 52 weeks of #PL. Perhaps one day, when I have a baby, I will start on #PL so that I can document all the little things/grow ups and look back w a smile. But that’s many yrs ltr. HAHAHAHA. #worrylater

I love wedding theme projects because they serve as ideas for my future wedding! Since I did it, I will be able to recreate it fast or improve further on the layout/design in time to come. I can foresee myself being v busy with all the preparation and I don have I have the luxury to think of new scrapbooking ideas/layouts for my wedding. HAHAHAHAH.

#planahead

Front cover: Make a guess what the theme is. If you managed to guess it then I have succeeded. HAHA. Else, I will still continue to jiayou. ROFL.

#weddingscrapbook
 photo P1013343_zpsfc697cc0.jpg

The groom’s suit is a sticker from Taobao.
The wedding gown is made from my old lace top. I cut the bride's hanger silhouette using #cameosilhouette.
The felt “喜” is from a random shop in Beijing. HAHAHA.
 photo P1013342_zps0245c777.jpg

Its a challenge to able to make my projects flat. HAHA.
Anyway, use 2 pcs of A4 sized chipboard and tape them securely at the side to make it into a book.

I kept the box that was used to put my juicer and reuse it for my current project. HAHAHA. called that #recycle #practise3Rs

My mama has been really encouraging though. She will keep a lookout for boxes for me at the bin collection area so that i can have chipboard for my #alteredprojects HAHA.
 photo P1013357_zps9962fa38.jpg

TADAH!!!!
I was actually inspired a project i saw at PaperMarket. So i went home and work on the idea i have in my head. I have written their wedding vows down for memory sake.
#front

"Mr and Mrs" and the "Once in a life event" stamps are Kaisercraft; "He and She Wedding" clear stamp set. The set can be found here!

The swirly script black words background is a clear stamp by Heidi Swapp, perfect for background work!

While its not v obvious here, but i used gesso over my stencil to create a more in depth look in the background. Not a pro with stencils yet,but i will work harder. HAHA. i think its pretty fun. You will need one day to dry your gesso though!

As usual, i cut "Our wedding 190714" using #cameosilhouette
The quote stamp is from Kaisercraft as well. Comes tgt in a set.
photo P1013345_zpse8bcd4e1.jpg Use ribbons/pearls/punch cut outs and sew them tgt in a line to create a banner across! photo P1013348_zps54e35609.jpg

And the secret to make it pop up? See the rectangle where i stick the "Once in a lifetime event" cut out?
Thats the secret to making it 3D.

Simple!
1. Take a pc of paper and cut 2 (1 inch thick, 25 cm long rectangle).
2. Use washi tape to cover the white paper.
3. Join the pcs of paper tgt to make it into a rectangle. Stick into the board.

TADAH.

My Bro's wedding.

Hi (blow off the dust)

HAHAHAHHA.

Anyway, i finally found the time to upload the pictures taken during my Bro's wedding.
I cant believe my annoying eldest brother is actually married. OMG.

(Look up and noticed that the sky is still intact.)
Everything is fine and therefore, this is real. HAHA.
Okay, photos dont lie.

(Faster get out of the house, please. I want to take over your room so that i can have a new wardrobe and put a new table so that i can do my scrapbook.)

But, i am happy to know that you are, FINALLY settling down. Its a tad late, cause you are 10 years older than me.(Why sooooooooo slow?!)
Mama is happy. Papa is happy. You are finally starting a family soon.

Now, do your job as the eldest grandson so that grandma/grandpa can have a status upgrade to be a great-grandma/great-grandpa. HAHAHA.

I must apologise that you are first in the line and the responsibility lies heavily on you. HAHA.
And, I am gg to terrorise them with my nana's language. (Nah, just kidding)

SO! The epic thing abt my bro getting married. He tasked me to look after his ang bao money + his barangs barangs.

But scattered brain me only rmb to take care of the money; i left his rabbits, legos and wedding plate at the hotel venue, safely kept under the chair. I tot thats the safest place on earth and i forget abt it. Currently, its MIA for good. It cannot be found. FUCK.

Someone has stolen it and i have put a cursed on that heartless person and then curse myself for being forgetful.

While i think i am totally at fault, i don think anyone should take those things. I cant uds why. Hai.
1. Its obviously not yours. Why do you take sth that is not yours?
2. You will be cursed for stealing someone's wedding deco. i hate you. hmph.

And this lego set!

My bro painstakingly assembled the red box tgt and i conveniently misplaced it.
HAI. I bought a new one for my bro, but he didnt even open it. I don blame him though, its just not the same anymore. Nope, my big bro did not raise his voice or scold me, which makes me all the more guilty.

Even the plate is gone. They have a photoshoot with it.
 photo P3232669_zpse3750b06.jpg

I am gg to be guilty for life. They only have photos to look at now. While my sis-in-law did not openly scold me, i am sure she is angry and disappointed with me. Or maybe she secretly hates me. I hate my brain sometimes.

Anyway, this peace of justice is awesome! My aunt commented that she is gg to ask him to be the POJ for her daughter's wedding in future. Which is er, 10 years ltr. He is really v v v friendly and bubbly. I like him too!

I shall ask my bro for his details in future. HAHA.

That my brother's rings.
i swear, he almost fainted when i asked him which one of the 3 to take out, cause I cant possibly put 3 rings on the lego ring bearer.
He gave me the wtf, can you don be so stupid look.

As usual, whats new? HAHAHA.

The weather is super hot that day! Say hi to my partner.
(i still don uds why his teeth is straight. ROFL. Dearest God, you are seriously not fair.)

I think this SMooch dress is really v pretty leh!
 photo P3232624_zps55d2ea80.jpg

 photo P3232640_zpsaeb5cc80.jpg

He is the youngest in our family! 8 yrs old?! Its really been a long time since we last held a baby in our family. HAHAHAH.
 photo P3232625_zps60ba5605.jpg

And that my happy family where we have dinner tgt every Saturday.

When everyone is happy, i am happy! photo 23March2014EdmundChloe509_zpseb2b6e6f.jpg

To my annoying old man, even though i scold you v often over your laziness and over-hoarding of bicycles at home, i still love you very much. And i know you love me too.
Plus learn from me and cut down on sugar okay? Its really really toxic for your medical condition.
 photo 23March2014EdmundChloe515_zpsbe12c43c.jpg

Hi love. Thanks for rushing down! I am sorry that you have to give up your race that day.
 photo 23March2014EdmundChloe552_zps5e2197c1.jpg
