Bali (Day 1 - BREEZE at The Samaya)

This was my most memorable part in Bali.

I hope time could come to a standstill. Nothing else matters. Everything seems too small, too little.
Life is beautiful, period.

And everything is amazing, when you lifelong partner is beside you.

Pictures say a thousand words. You will understand why i really enjoy and love Bali due to this. HAHA.
Thank god for pictures, they keep memories alive.

I enjoyed the moment and hope, i can return again to witness that.

Alot of ppl head to Jimbaran for sunset and to have a supposedly memorable experience for dining at the beach. (or should i say everyone goes Jimbaran?)

However, I would say forget it. I read alot of reviews abt the seafood and service provided.
Its difficult to get a table. The seafood is not exactly awesome and its very expensiveeeeeeeeee.

Service is not good and it feels like chomp chomp in Singapore. If you wanna eat BBQ seafood, just go choom chomp okay. HAHA.

However, if you insist in gg Jimbaran for dinner, you may wish to note that they do sell chicken/pork/vegetables too. Thats the tip my colleague told me. LOL. HAHAHA. Your bill is gg to be insane when you just order seafood that is not exactly nice. (thats why i heard. I nv went and dont have the intention)

In any case, my experience at the Breeze is totally awesome. The perfect place for couples.
Romantic and quiet. Worth every penny.

After my lunch at Metis Restaurant, we took a cab and head off to Breeze, at the Samaya.

#tripadvisor is my best friend. Ranked #3 restaurant for Seminyak. LOL. Anyway, I visited Breeze due to the reviews i saw at tripadvisor and it is such an amazing place!

I suggest that you make reservations beforehand to avoid disappointment. Else you may not get a table at the beachfront! And thats gg to be so wasted for the price you paid!

Its pricey restaurant for Bali. But its worth all my money!
Everything was lovely.

Impeccable service; they memorised your name.
They were attentive. They were helpful. They are always smiling.
Its located right at the beach.
You have a multi-million dollar view.



We headed to the beach while we were waiting for food to come. The location is superb. 20 steps and you get to the sand and TADAH! Here's the beach.



We were early. And i suggest you reach there early!

Do not reach there at 615pm (what's the pt!), where the sun alr start setting. Reach early to enjoy the sunset to the fullest. If you are really late, skip this place! You would have missed the whole point of coming here if you are late.

Witness how sunset happens. Sunset is very fast in Bali. 




And food is served! Although we were not hungry at all. HAHA.

These are complimentary. And they were delish!


This is probably 6pm. (sunset is at 630pm)


All the waitress were very nice and determined to make your stay a memorable one! Its definitely a place you dont mind paying for more.

My intention is really to come here for desserts and drinks. (i have checked with the restaurant cause i anticipated that we will be full from lunch. And they mentioned its perfectly fine to do that, there is no minimum order in the restaurant.)

We really tried to minimise our order.
Okay, my stomach can take this. (pls be reminded that i had late lunch 1.5 hours ago)

These cost about $40.
1 latte. 1 smoothie. 1 small salad. 2 oysters. 2 plates of desserts.


XX says the oysters are totally awesome and taste like those he had in Tasmania. HAHA.


I swear my stomach almost exploded.

I love Bali.


I was secretly happy that i spammed photos then. Why so chio?
I will nv forget this sight! And thank god for the good weather!
I am in love.

(My friend went there and it was raining. There's no amazing sunset. If you are heading there, i hope you will be blessed with good weather! Else i suggest you skip the place. The food is not cheap and there is no shelter too.)




Sunset is amazing. I didnt know sunset can have so many colours and look so different in that few minutes.

It happens everyday, but we were so preoccupied with working and chasing dreams, we forget that the most beautiful things we have in life are free.


I am glad i get to witness this with you.

I may have stayed in the restaurant for only 1 hour, but it gives me one of my life's most beautiful memories.
Stunning sunset, crashing waves just metres away and XX is just beside me.

Everything is beautiful.

4 yrs old.

30 July 2013 is a special day.

XX agreed to go to Universal Studios with me! HAHAHA. It is to celebrate our 4th anniversary. 4 yrs is actually not a short period. Its 1460 days. Time will fly pass us without us realising it.

Not easy for 2 parties to come tgt.
Not easy for 2 parties to stay tgt.
Not easy for 2 parties to last tgt.

Lets just hope 40 yrs down the road, with efforts from both parties, we are still lasting and ever in love.

Nth last forever. Nth is eternity. We need the patience and the effort to maintain a relationship tgt.
Its a piece of art and i hope it will always remain as a masterpiece.

XX nv like theme parks. But he didn’t want my ticket to go to waste, so I guess he has no choice but to go.

SESAME STREET. HOORAY! i love elmo. because its red in colour. And i enjoy singing the annoying song, LA LA LA LA LA to disturb ppl.

I am that annoying. LOL. i am actually v annoyed by the fact elmo is not one of the figurines. BOO!!


XX wanted to get me one of these, but i decided i am old enough. And prices are marked up way too much. cute a not!!! HAHA.



Its a family ride, so its a happy ride. sesame street is too cute! At least, the star is elmo here. LOL. Elmo, don let others steal your limelight leh!



I reckoned this is my XX's favourite ride. HAHAHA.

Hello elmo, i am sorry but i have to molest you. HAHAHA.


And, i hate this lights, camera, action ride. Although i took this before, i forgot there is water in action. sigh, imagine one pool of water coming directly for your dslr. my heart sank like titanic.

i was moody for a minute and consoled myself, its ok. my lens is weather proof. LOL. life goes on and its time to play. HAHA.


Cyclone/Human fast speed roller coaster. So stoked to go for this ride! I didn’t try this ride the last time I visited. So fun! So fun! I told xx if he is ble to take this ride, he will have no trouble taking other rides alr. But I am such a bad gf, I forget to take into account that fear doesn’t go away overnight. And the above theory doesn’t work this way. The fact that he saw someone vomiting in the toilet didn’t help at all.


In the queue, there are videos picturing telling ppl abt the high speed ride and is honestly not meant for the faint hearted. I tried to convince him I will be okay gg for the ride alone and he just have to wait for me outside. But he is so worried I will be lonely, he went ahead with the ride. Aww Aww.


Oh god oh god. As much as I enjoyed the ride, his stomach went upside down and he almost, almost vomited. He starting seeing stars and the situation is not good. Has anyone seen a blue-coloured xx before? I feel so bad to make my xx go through such ordeal. He has lost all appetite after that. T.T



And then, I left him alone to fight his internal senses and went ahead for the human ride alone. There is a Malaysian girl beside me who went alone and started screaming when the ride starts moving. Rofl. I told her to relax and chill and everything will be okay. And before I can say anything more, BOOMZ! Why am I so epic. LOL. Although there are no 360 degrees turns, there’s quite a bit of fast drops. HAHAHA.

Still, nth scares me yet. XX is fascinated and astonished by my special ability.

And once again, I didn’t get to try any of the Jurassic park rides. The queue is forever so long, its crazy. Lol. tsk.

I am an energy ball. i jump everywhere. i reckoned thats one of a way to burn fats too. lol.




I always ask my XX do stupid things. I am annoying. LOL. But he did it anyway. HAHA.


Far Far Land away. What a fairytale.


I choose to believe fairytale exist if both parties put in the effort.


You are certainly not the best in the world, but good enough for me. Till today, i am still counting my blessings. Perhaps, life is much easier to pass if we could all sit back and appreciate how fortunate we are. To understand what is truly within our means.

Our partners will be meant to be, and fate to be.


Insisted taking a photo with this mascot, cause it reminds of someone. Why your nose so long!! Chop off your nose, cause you are naughty. HAHA.

XX say this mascot must be a girl, cause its so short. HAHAHA. and legs so slim. GUYS CANNOT BE SHORT MEH. my xx discriminate. tsk.


Tell me why their face is green. if i am a kid, i will probably green out by a green-coloured looking alien like creature. Ma chiam frog leh. #justsaying


Me love this ride, there are elements of surprises. HAHA.


Madagascar!





I really find theme parks a happy place. HAHAHA. 






Mascots just look too happy. They are probably cursing and swearing by the long queue of tourists dying to take a photo with them. Me included.

HAHAHA. I was walking side by side with the mascot and XX took this photo!! Hello penguins, why you bluff kids.

There are no black/white penguins in the world. They only exist in Walts disney.
Now you know.

Penguins have a dark blue/greyish blue back. I learn that fact when i was in Tasmania, during a penguin tour. One of my most amazing experience, to witness wild penguins coming back from the sea after a day of fishing. Just to let you know, penguin has no knees. Thats why they walk like that.



But, i paid for  my entrance ticket. So i guess, they will just have to suck thumb and endure intense heat under the costume for 15 mins. LOL. HAHAHA. Its a tough and agonising 15 mins.


Okay.  Madagascar is an island. They exist. It is an island country in the Indian Ocean, off the southeastern coast of Africa.

There is really this, weird looking greyish animal in Madagascar. This is called ring-tailed lemur, only to be found in Madagascar. Just like how Tasmanian devils are found in Tasmania.

I nv see this creature before. I tot it is being fabricated. One day, i saw it on one of the documentaries on discovery channel and was truly enlightened.

I watch documentaries since v v young, yet there is actually an animal i don know its existence yet. that is actually quite amazing. HAHAHA. i enjoy watching snakes, insects, marine, blah blah.

if anything, documentaries over dramas. HAHAH.

And hippo is mischievous, hippo play with my hair sia. LOL. tsk.


Cute a not!! maybe i should just get one of these. Since i am queen of the day. HAHAHA. someone is paying!!! WAHAHAHA.


Maybe i should just get one and put in office and chase my pooh bear out of office. LOL.


Honestly, i thought the transformer ride wont be too traumatizing for XX. i was wrong. He is just as blue after the ride. LOL. I still swear this ride sure no problem, wont giddy one. Okay, next time, nv trust me when it comes to rides. Everything is no problem for me. HAHA.

I got obsessed with taking photos with all the different mascots I can find. I will jump with joy and run to join the queue. Haha!! But, its kind of a heng-suay thing to meet the mascots though.
