The last of CNY for a fabulous February.

I spent my last CNY feast over at yt house. As the last day of CNY, the 15th was spent in Hong Kong, so my last CNY feast is spent over at yt house.

Memorable a not! Like a family, spending quality time together. Being tgt means hours of non stop boomz, chatter, laughter and joy.

In life, we should all be contented for simple pleasures found in life. To be able to laugh, to be able to be surrounded by friends so dear to you. Life is perfect. In today's hectic lifestyle where everyone seem to distant from one other due to schedules and excuses, its a heart warming thought to know you have friends who will be there for you.

I am someone who count my blessings. HAHAHA. To be grateful for whatever I have today. They dont drop from the sky, its by sheer hard work, understanding and communication among both parties to keep the friendship gg. (and it applies to boy-girl relationships too!)

I am glad we are still as close as we first started.

Its a night full of massive photo taking of moving around the living room. GOTCHA, KODAK moments where only photos can revive the memories of all the fun we had. HAHAHA.

I find it novelty to be able to order the tiramisu cupcakes and customised it to our theme!

Its nice, but not as nice as I thought. Perhaps expectations were too high with all the raves and hype. HAHAHA. Given the price for the size, its a tad expensive though!

Apart from my sis yt, Gwen is my next running idol. Hers legs are god like. LOL. She run at the speed of light. No, i am not kidding.

So when we finally took all the required photos with the many cameras on standby that day, chaos emerged. HAHAHAHAHA. epic scene.

CNY is officially over, I hope everyone have a big fat collection of ang bao! And since its over, it is now time to pay back the sin; all the extra calories and diet breaking with all the oily-fat-greasy food consumed must now be burnt off. The oh-so-delicious ba gua and calories filled pineapple tarts are now history.

Lets all work harder to shed all the extra weight gained away and the entire cycle of good food eating will be able to resume 365 days ltr. I cant wait for the next CNY alr! (Although i dread what is before that. LOL.)

So far, 2013 is nth short of awesome. It has brought many many good news since the beginning of the yr and I hope it will persist till the end of 2013!

Its my snakey yr! Lets hope everything will go well for the remaining 10 mths of the yr. Its not that long right! Its a right start and it shall all end right.

Hello all! I am here blogging today because my sister says I set a new PB for not blogging alr. Feeling a little guilty, I shall attempt to blog a short entry before its too late.

As usual, I didnt keep to my promise of finishing my Taiwan entries before I fly to Hong Kong.  There is one last post to be done but I am flying to HKG tml alr. But I promise I will finish my Taiwan travelogue!

But!! I CANT WAIT FOR MY HKG TRIP. I am gg overseas with my shimmery intimates. Its my first oversea trip with my dearest girlfriends and I will be completing my life's first half marathon overseas. The first of many to come. Thats 2 first alr! What an amazing thought.

I love all my knit pullovers I bought. heh.

I cant wait to be on the plane tml with buddy and kx! Rest for the night in Hong Kong while waiting for the rest of the intimates to touch down in the land of dim sum the following day. Its gg to be so fun. I just know it. It shall be our most memorable trip for spending the most amazing experience in Hong Kong. Life will nv be the same again. Gg overseas with your best friends in life is like eating methamphetamine. I hope I can maintain my boomz for the 4.5 days. HAHAHAHA.

I wish everyone to stay happy and healthy. Once its being achieved, one can truly enjoy the wealth you have in your hands; be it big or small..

Its my snake yr!!! HUAT AR!

I come from a very small family and relatives that can be easily counted with fingers. HAHAHAHA. Truth to be told, I don really like CNY. Prior to CNY, the amt of housework and clearing I have to do and prepare is er, very depressing and scary. Many a times, I really wanna split myself into multiple parts just for me to complete the tasks on time.

I am in charge of way too many things in the house, sometimes I can break down and cry. Scrub the kitchen floors, wipe the cupboards, clear the area underneath the sink, clean the toilets, mop the floor, prepare the decorations, food goodies, groceries shopping etc etc needed for CNY. Truth is, my mama didnt help me a single bit this yr. All she did was to give her orders and commands for the things to be done. From head to toe, its just me truly. My bones are literally breaking from all the chores, everything concerning the house lies with me in charge.

Sometimes, I really hate CNY. The amt of work just behind the arrival of CNY is a nightmare, threatening to lose my sanity. But CNY is happy occasion; Its a brand new yr, A brand new start for the lunar calender. This February is fabulous. For many mths, This is the mth I am waiting for. Its finally here. The beginning of an end. Signed and this is it! Its a truly Fab feb.

CNY brings joy and bond families tgt. Because I come from a small family, I meet my maternal relatives often and there isnt a single awkward moment. I dread the moment where you meet your cousins and relatives once a yr and when you run out of topics to talk abt, there is only silence. Looking into your phone seems to be the best escape. LOL. But it is CNY which ppl make the effort to come out and meet, to refresh memories that we are still a family, related by blood. HAHAHA.

Hello mahjong! How i missed you! But then again, I think gambling/playing mahjong is a waste of money. It only acts as a platform for me and my cousins to bond tgt and let the night pass by easier. I won $30 from mahjong this yr!! WAHAHAHAHA.

Even if its once a yr, its an effort made. CNY means food, all things oily-fatty-greasy.


Everything that you seldom eat will come out during CNY.

Hello crazily expensive abalones, time taxing preparing sea cucumbers, all kinds of meat; chicken, fish, pork, duck. The table is so full of food, the sight of it makes you happy. Its a time where I truly forget abt calories and binge.  Eat them before its too late, its only available 365 days ltr again. I will only vex abt the extra kilos and calories after the food galore. HAHAHAHA. Hello gym! Long time no see!

Because I come from a small family, my CNY has been v quiet for the longest time. Its renioun dinner over at grandma's house. Chu yi - Skipped visiting my gu gu over at tampines cause my parents are working. They didnt go so i dont go. As such, I went CNY visiting with XX before ending the day at his grandma house for my fav food.

Love and bravery Crochet dress in indigo this yr. I am a fan of anything lacey/crochet. Even though i think this dress is costly at $33 cause the dress is not fully laced till the hems. But I donned in indigo blue in 2012 and i donned in indigo blue again in 2013. I guess I really like indigo blue shade. LOL.

Happy to go for CNY visiting w XX. I will have to go visiting with him in future anyway. This is warm up class. Although i spend most of the time playing with this phone. LOL. Usually the seniors do the talking, the younger ones just sit and stare into space, wasting time away. LOL.

how did you guys spend your CNY?

probably because i have aged. 
i don really feel ecstatic that CNY is arriving anymore.

when i was younger. CNY = $$ = red envelops = play = holiday = fun.

perhaps i am working now. those red envelops doesnt really entice me much.
maybe, it wasnt alot of money too. abt $100 odd.

i don have a lot of relatives. HAHA.
the amt of angbao i gave out were moreeeeeeeeeeee. XD
nvm, those were acts of filial piety.

or perhaps its the amt of housework i got to clear prior to CNY.
almost the entire house is under my cleaning area, exception to my 2 bro's / papa rooms.

else, i will probably go crazy if i clean everything. as if i wasnt tired from all the work/lectures/notes.
just the living room makes me crazy alr.

so, i really hate 4 weeks before CNY.

nvm, i am glad its almost over. (:
i had a lot of good food. mama say, "CNY = eat eat AND eat."

if you don eat during CNY, when are you gg to enjoy such good food.
eat first, diet ltr. you got another 365 for diet. only 15 days to eat good food. LOL. and so, i followed instructions, and eat, eat and eat.

HAHAHA. what a pig life. XD
ok la. judging with the amt of food i eat, i should be relieved for a 2 kg weight gain.

hooray. grandma cooked a lot of awesome food. yummy fish. yummy prawns and abalones.

even though, its obvious there is no way we can finish the food. but CNY = must have a lot of food = must over eat else waste food.

and hence, everyone is given the permission to grow fat. (:

even xx knows me, in a pot of chinese mushromms and meat and sea cucumber. i would secretly dig all the sea cucumber and eat. HAHAHA.

a good sign. i nv really like anyone to eat shark fins.

to cruel to know how they die. to have limbs cut off and left to die in pain.

went to Mustafa to buy curtains. yes, after CNY eve. out of the blue, mama decided to buy more curtains and change the curtains for the entire house..

i alr hanged up new curtains for the living room. but mama decided to buy more. so we head over to Mustafa!

invited XX over to grandma house during 大年初二!
the plan was to meet at 6pm at my house before heading over tgt.

mama:" when is xx coming?"
me: "6pm. 15 mins ltr. he wont be late. only i will be evil enough to be forever late and make him wait."
mama: " HAHAHA! tsk." trust me, she HAHA very loud.

at 6pm.
i thought to myself. SHIT. i am not done with me cleaning the floors yet. nvm, open the door first. then ltr he doesnt have to call me to open the door.

*open the door.*
wtf. he was there, outside my door for 5 mins alr. calling my phone.
well, my phone was in my room, not within my reach and i didnt know it was ringing.
apparently,  door bell is for show.

i got a shock of my life. i am supposed to wait for him to come.
not to open door for him to come in. LOL!!!

me: " MAMA!!! I TOLD YOU HE WONT BE LATE."
mama: " HAHAHAHA." again.

i alr intend to wear my LB davenport in cobalt for CNY day 1 (here!). but mama says this colour is not an auspicious colour for CNY, she asked me to change into another dress. 0.o #lightingflashes.

last minute ask me to wear what leh!!
so i decided to wear my MGG J'aime les organza dress in royal indigo (M). mama actually WAH when i donned on this dress. hardly a time she ever compliment on sth i buy!! LOL. #raremoment

i wore the low back converter! Meiho purchased it for me from Metro at compass point for $7.90. but, i read from forums that its sold out there alr!! not sure if its been restocked though!
 
i wont be able to see the back strap of my bra with the convertor. but suppose if you wanna wear the low back convertor, you need to wear your bra with your straps on, else i think your bra will just drop. lol.

unless you wanna wear a nu bra. else, its not possible with any kind of normal bra.

i am in luck. i saw a same person wearing the MGG J'aime les organza dress in tangerine. right outside the mrt when i was gg home on 初一 .her bf looked at me, a little stunned cause i was wearing the same design as her gf. HAHAHAHA.

i was a little shocked and surprised too. but that would mean, we all have good taste to wear the same thing. XD  well, what are the chances? i need to go buy 4D alr!! i still telll a podder that we wont be so heng to meet another person wearing the same dress, cause its exclusive in the market, there is no BO! HAHAHA.

even if the girl got buy, doesnt mean have to wear for CNY ma. she may just have other dresses to wear?
so, i conclude that i am really in luck.

Material: this material feels more expensive and more lux than chiffon. its very smooth, and there is actually this shiny sheen on it. it like touching silk. i really prefer this material much much more than chiffon!! this feel more expensive. HAHAHA. but this material is v sensitive to heat.

i destroyed this dress alr. yes, i destroyed it alr. the temperature of my iron was too high when i attempted to iron this dress before heading out. and i burnt a part of it. 
thankfully, it was at the side; not so obvious.. it visible, but like that jie says, the designs outshine the defect alr. HAHAHAHA.


Design: my dress spells subtle sexiness with a tinge of formality. not too revealing yet giving a demure looking feel. the mesh and embroidery is all you need to give a good impression. HAHAHA.

Sizing: Absolutely not stretchable at all.slight loose for me at waist. ptp is just nice for me!! ^^

to buy dress. 5 stars/5stars!! HAHAHA.

well, honestly, i don wear sth too chui, nor too kua zhang or too revealing or too blah blah.
i am supposed to wear sth to give an good impression right to XX family right. HAHAHAH.

afterall, i am gg his house with his relatives all in on 大年初一.

first stop, at his 大伯 house. well, gg visiting = elders busy talking, youngsters nua-ing.

i am such a bully. XD but seriously, these 饺子 are so nice, he needs to know how to make them in order to cook for me in future. HAHAHA.


steamboat for dinner!! hmm, XX's grandma makes nicer stock broth than my grandma. then again, its the maid who make the broth!! HAHAHA. cannot compare like that!! XD LOL.

oh, his grandma house and his house are both under the same roof; same block. how convenient.
