oh, did i mention, Jane bought me krispy kreme from australia when we nv met before! i didnt even meet her before. XX attended the meetup for me to sell her a LB bralet. she did a delivery from the airport right to my workplace cause she say, its supposed to eat eaten straight away.

Keisuke Tokyo Ramen at Millenia Walk

as i pen down this entry, i realised i ate the ramen 2 weeks ago. OH GOD. dont ask me where on earth did my time fly to, cause i have no idea. i blame it solely to my work. as always, i am tired and sleepy after work.

nvm, i don really like the ramen anyway!! so, its not worth mentioning it off first hand. HAHAHA.
and pui, this awful ramen was meant to be a treat for XX's commencement of work the coming Monday. 

its Fridays again! and Fridays are meant to roam around in town searching for good food. it is said to be truly the king of Japanese ramen broth.

but, i dont get all the raves abt this shop!!!! 0.O

there are two Keisuke shops in Singapore – Keisuke Tokyo Ramen at Millenia Walk and Keisuke Tonkotsu King at Orchid Hotel. apparently, the standards of the Millenia Walk branch pales in comparison with the tanjong pajar branch. pls pls, go to the tanjong pajar branch. LOL.

i shall head to tanjong pajar to try the legendary ramen where everyone claimed to be authentically delicious one day. until i tried it myself, else it will remain as a claim. afterall, the branch failed me terribly.

i have tried so many different ramen in Singapore throughout the yrs alr. i trust my own taste buds to determine which suits me best. LOL.

with severely overcooked pork bones, i thought i saw a pig in front of me. not my XX of course. but a real pink pig. oh god. sense the pain. for the first time in my life, i actually detest ramen with such strong pork after taste. LOL. it was too rich, too overwhelming, i thought it was sickening and puke inducing.

1.Soup base : original, spicy and peppery
2.Taste of the soup : light, normal and strong
3.Chicken oil : less, normal and more
4.Noodle texture : soft, normal and hard

this is free flow. which i don think its very nice. LOL.




no, i am not exaggerating. i didnt even order the strong taste soup. i ordered the normal taste soup. and it turned out to be a disaster. apparently, Japanese must really really like strong porky bone essence taste.

full of collagen.

look at how OPAQUE  the soup is. its opaque. i cannot see through. full of pork. pls imagine a pig there. HAHAHAHA. to me, its too thick, too flavourful, too milky, too salty.

nvm, the fragrance egg didnt managed beat my tampopo standard. this is fail egg. LOL. its not soft and flowly enough.

While I may have preferred the noodles and special char siew over at Marutama, and the tamago at Tampopo, soup base at the paragon ramen (i forgot the name of the shop!)

i am sorry to say but this is the worst of the lot. LOL. it painful eating this. waste my $$. T.T


this is the unique, unusual, non conventional crab based broth.
its so fishy, i see a fish there. i literally, almost puked. OH GOD. this is my worst ramen experience.

even sliced fish soup is not as fishy.


no, i swear i am not exaggerating.

nvm, i shall try the tanjong pajar branch, where everyone is raving.
no one rave abt the millenia branch.
that must be the reason why the restaurant is kind of empty on friday night.
or is it due to F1? no, i choose to believe its due to the sucky broth. LOL.

i am alive and kicking, if anyone actually wondered if i abandoned my blog.

its kind of scary looking at the amt of photos resting in my photobucket waiting for me to pen down my thoughts behind each freeze-moment-memory-shot.

i will probably take some time to slowly upload and pierce each and every of the lovely photos into a blog entry.

HAHAHAHA. and er, pls don wait for my reviews anymore. by the time i do it, a newly launched item become something launched really long ago. i am ashamed of my laziness. LOL.

thats me! without any make up. i am lazy to apply and remove make up if i am just solely gg to work. LOL.
so yup, i treat it as an excuse for my laziness so that my skin can breathe. LOL.

(pls give me a round of applause for the pimple-less cheeks. finally, i can go facial without a pimple on my cheeks. its finally scars-fighting time. i drink liang teh almost every alt. day to remove all heaty-ness in my body so i dont grow so much/new pimples that will take forever to heal. LOL. and that takes alot of effort. LOL.)

i heal old pimples and grow new pimples. its a vicious cycle and i swear that is nightmare. so not fun for facial cause its just another screaming filled facial session. LOL.

and hence, PLS DRINK LIANG TEH OFTEN. i am the new ambassador of liang teh.
cook luo han guo yourself at home!!! i cook for XX everyweek. LOL. super easy. LOL.

and for that, i admire XX's courage of gg out with me, makeupless.
you should understand that, my skin condition used to be much much worse. it takes courage for a bf to walk beside a gf like that makeupless. HAHAHA.

low self morale for such bad skin conditions.
i shall just drink liang teh every alt day. LOL. (eh, i think thats a very sad life. LOL. drink just to avoid having pimples)

i am really a v bad and mean gf.
so i saw this nice-tempting-licious red tomato based pasta when it first arrived.
i self declared this pasta IS MINE when the waitress asked.

and when my supposedly lobster bistro pasta (it was a new recommended dish) came, i decided that its not my pasta anymore and it shall go to XX's stomach.

and when i took the first bite of my lobster bistro, i feel like vomiting on the spot for the fishy-ness. LOL.

i love fridays. because fridays = weekend is coming. although i always joke with my colleagues that friday coming = monday is coming too. LOL. and thats the start of another hell cycle. HAHAHA. so why do Fridays even come!!!

nonetheless, Friday means Saturday the following day and i can finally sleep till the sun goes high up in the sky. i can take a proper rest and i can do the things i want.

weekends become so valuable ever since i started work.
every Monday, i look forward to Friday.

so Friday are STILL, happy days.

and Fridays are made even more beautiful because of friends.
i love Fridays. it makes ppl happy.

for a brief period of time, i even forget i am supposed to be moody.
