Wedding lunch.

Attended my 2nd wedding lunch in 2012!

venue to be held at Furama Riverfront Hotel.
XX is so scared i will lost my way there cause i am such a road/direction idiot, he gave me a long list of landmarks i should see, the bus to take, and when to press the bell to alight. LOL.

am i that useless. T.T

i think this is the only online dress i wore for 3 times for special occasions. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

and the 5" heels that accompany me for the day. this certainly don look 5" don they?!!!
i realised, i cant wear 5" heels without a strap.

my feet tends to fall out. unlike my anna nucci 5" khaki heels, i can walk in them comfortably and fast. but my feet are coming out in this black pair! T.T

look at the hole behind. OMG. its really, difficult to walk w a hole behind. OMG.

lesson learn; buy 5" heels w a strap. else, wear insoles to make the heels smaller. LOL.

while waiting for the bride to arrive!! we are supposed to escort her to the ballroom area where the signing of papers are held.

both of us were entertained ourselves by taking photos with the mirrors near the lift. HAHA.




look, my curls are gone and it got back to the straight rebonded dead hair again. less than 12 hours leh.

oh, i ate like a glutton for the wedding lunch. the beehoon is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice. i ma chiam took potions that can last me till dinner. HAHA.

both of us changed right after the wedding lunch before we head to lakeside for bonding session with XX's fyp supervisor and mentor!!

oh, XX almost killed me for munching on potato chips when i was there. HAHAHAHA.

having run everywhere for 2 conseq days, my old bones are aching.
i told myself, i need to nua the entire day at home on Sunday!

and it feel so good. (:

this calls for a celebration. (:

focus, concentration.
mind over body.

i have been that telling myself today.

today marks an impt day to my running exercise regime.
i have been running, twice a week.

once on the weekend with my XX.
once on the weekday after work.

i didnt bring my itouch cause i didnt want to be tied down to the timing of my run.

i don give a damn abt timing.

i am more concerned with the distance i clocked and whether i made an improvement from the previous run;
if i am panting like i wanna die or feeling more tired.

if i don feel good, i take it slow and easy.
if i am in good mood, i run at a slightly faster pace.

own time own target. (:

truth is, i didnt wanna go running today. cause, i am mentally drained from work and i honestly don feel good. BUT, the weather is so cooling today, its a waste not to go for a run.

so, i told mama to prepare her bike and we are gg to exercise tonight. HAHAHA.

it been a long time since i last had such a good run. it was such a awesome run tonight, i don feel tired at all.
my pace is constant. my breathing is constant. perfect.

usually i take a break after 0.5 round at bishan park.
but i didnt want the break to disrupt my running momentum, i decided to forgo my break and just continue running.

the next thing i know, i am continuously running for 1.5 rounds the parks before i finally decided i need to take a break.

i smile as i run. i seem to find back the old me. to enjoy the run and breeze. HAHAHAHA. i am such a happy girl. i did it. pushed myself and made it.

i pushed myself harder today and i didnt feel like dying from it. and it was manageable; not too straining on my heart nor legs.

say yeah to a healthy living lifestyle.
lets hope my craze for running wont die so fast.

and today marks another impt day.

my xx unoffically graduated from NUS. OMGOMGOMGOMG. sense my happiness.

it breaks my heart seeing him to study. T.T
its so tough. T.T

no words can explain how much we are done with NUS. seriously.

and nth can be happier than completing the final paper in your life for a graded module.
nothing.

that kind of euphoria cant be put down into words.
say yeah! i can call and disturb my XX without guilt now. (:

education, get lost. we are done with it. ^^
and say no to further studies that will attempt to cook our brains more.

i cant study anymore! my brain is officially studiously DEAD.
and i don want my xx to continue pursuing further studies too!!
he really wont have time for me then. BOOOOO!!

i did scarpbooking ytd. and i am happy. its my hobby and i really enjoy doing what i like most.
just that i didnt find the time to sit down and do it.

and then i look into my collection of punches. i feel like stabbing myself. i swear, i wont buy punches anymore. really.

tried my first attempt on iron on felt!! and its was gorgeous! so pretty can!


i love the scrapbook details i done ytd. heh.


even when we cant deny the ticking clock and the brightest colours fade off, i will still love you. just like how you love me ytd, today, tml and in the future.. ^^

ok. i shall clear this entry of mine, before new entries start to pile up.

heels i got! Love Bonito Covet Fort Piedra Heels, size 37
and i feel cheated. the seller say its BN. well, shoes needs to be BN!!
 
but, honestly, the sole doesnt look BN at all. even XX say, this is not BN looking at all. its probably worn once or twice.

sometimes i wonder why am i such a nice person. in the end, i didnt even questioned her and msg her asking why she lied. cause i cant be bothered. she will probably lie to me again, telling me another story.

i mean, its impossible for her to collect back the heels right! she will lie to me de lor.
but truth is, i only got this for $26 with meetup, so i shall close 2 eyes and let this matter rest.

i just think, seller should just be more honest! i even confirm and double checked with her if its BN. 0.o  thats why, i like to buy directly from the blogshop itself. there wont be such problem.

went to bugis right after my korean class!! and of course, i dropped by KJ to look at any potential new items.

Megagamie Yankee crochet shoulder shirt in white, long sleeve shirt with lace-crochet details at the back! material is superbly good and thick! if you work requires formal wear, this is a pretty good choice to consider!


head off to alan photo and get my lens cap!! imagine my happiness when i heard they are selling it. alot of shop didnt have instock pcs for my cap. and i bought strings to attach my lens so that it wont drop again!! LOL.

i wont forgot the sight of how my lens cap dropped 50m below me into the green.

got my kimchi and i am making korean soup for XX tonight after tuition class! say yeah.

bought them using my groupon. get $20 worth of items for just $10!
bought red bean pancakes too!!! XX loves red bean.


and the famous le cafe soy bean tarts!! i am such a stubborn person. i reached le cafe only to realise i don have enough cash and they don accept NETS. but i am so determined to get my tarts ytd so that XX can eat them prior to tuition class, and i can have them for breakfast.

so i went to look for a atm machine and then walk back to buy my tarts. HAHAHAHA. why i so stubborn.


they are absolutely yummy.
its my daddy's favourite too.

it worth it walking back. heh. (:

waited for XX to end tuition to go for our weekly run!! running is our second pak tor activity. heh.

i secretly think he run ahead of me so that i can keep up with his running pace. so i pushed myself to run faster ytd. HAHAHA. my XX makes a good running pacer.

but hey!! he got so hungry in the end, he cant complete the distance i wanted to. tsk. lousy.

and i realise, i cant take long breaks. my momentum is lost and i cant run anymore. XD XD

i cant help but sigh our thigh difference. T.T
mine is twice the size of his.

came home and cook dinner after the run while watching SA!! a pot full of mushrooms and kimchi. lets all fight cancer tgt and detox w kimchi!

mama look into our big pot of food and asked, "ARE YOU SURE BOTH OF YOU CAN FINISH THESE?" its abt a 20cm thick pot full of indigents. HAHAHA.

truth is, we can finish them in 30 mins. oh, did i say, i went to add 250g of thick bee hoon into the big pot of soup halfway? cause the soup is so full, i cant add anymore noodles into it.

i told you all alr, my appetite increased, 2 folds ever since i started working. HAHAHA.

i changed my facial timing twice, cause i didnt realise i am so busy.

mama is so unhappy abt me not being at week the entire week.

anyway. so last week is a date with the shopaholics!

the best thing is, everyone of us is close in age. talking has nv been easier. everyone understand. no different frequency at all. or those, one minute of awkward dead silence. that kind of paiseh, what should i say next situation.

so much fun. so much gossips. so much laughter. everyone of us talk as if, we have known each other for a long long time. we need such meetup often.

and we reach a common consensus of anti-capsicum. highlight of the night, totally.
i really hate green/red/yellow capsicum.

even though my prof tell me, it has the highest vitamin C. even orange got to stand far far away.
but, i still hate it. HAHAHA.

no offense to anyone, but blindly following fashion isnt exactly a wise thing to do. 

in order to make Meiho realise that she indeed found herself a full time job.

i went to hunt balloons for her. as a surprise, as a gift.
until Yingtian knocked some sense into me that Valerie is getting a new job for a change in environment soon, so i bought another balloon!!

it kind of amusing boarding the train early in the morning, armed with 2 big balloons in front of me, with the guilty look.

i keep saying, "i am so sorry."
HAHAHAHA. and then everyone return me the guilty look too. scared they burst my balloon.

shared the balloons with Felica and Yingtian for the surprise.



ordered the army stew set. cause, the travel documentaries always show ppl ordering this in korea.
comes with everything shown here! (side dishes subjected to changes)

 
HAHA!! its meant for 4 pax.

but i reckoned the food should be enough for 6 pax, cause girls don eat that much.  HAHAHA. haiya, its always over estimation for menu de la.

i am glad we only order that. we cant even finish the food!

comes with 4 other main dishes, apart from the stew.

truth is, i don really like this restaurant. i prefer my manna and togi korean restaurant more!!! they are so generous with their side dish servings!

they are so stingy with the serving. XD XD XD
we got to keep asking for refill. tsk.

Good friday entry. hooray!! its was just a 4 day week!!! woohoo!!
Although i don hate my job at all, a day off is still very much appreciated from all the stress.
Numbers, stay always from me. 

heh. a long weekend; i rested enough. and did a lot of exercise too!! heh. (a nature hike on Saturday. at least a 4km run on Sunday. Bikram Yoga on Monday.) I am so healthy living lately. But, i ended up with tired bones everywhere. LOL.

hooray!! all towards the SHAPE run with Meiho, Yingtian and emmy in july! Suppose i can hit the timing i want, It shall be the best present for myself this yr. (:

Empty spaces are no no. I saw one skinny blazer that i like at TOPMAN, but it cost $239. (guess what, he took the smallest size and fit nicely.)

WAH. I have got expensive taste. HAHAHA.

but hor, i look up down left right, he didnt look that thin leh. LOL!!! must be too flat. HAHAHAHA.

this is a cool restaurant. for the first time, i am eating ramen with white sesame seed that i grind.
it taste exceptionally good. cause i added in effort for the soup. HAHAHAH.


i don really like this miso soup base. cause there are presence of naturally fermented alcohol. and i got so sensitive to alcohol now, the slight presence of it, irks me. HAHAHA.

i have really turned into a new leaf!!! that being said, my colleagues jio me for a drinking session next friday.
they joked, "veron is gg to order, coke on the rocks!!!!"

me: " whats that. coke + alcohol?"
wk:" no, since there is vodka + ice. so, coke on the rocks is coke + ice"

the ramen is not bad actually!!!!



mini burgers!!! but the ramen are nicer! order those!! HAHA. skip this. XD

cause the variety of take home park ice cream at island creamery were pathetic.


the waffle is just as good as the salted caramel at thomson!! OMG!!! so naise plssssssss.
although i think the waffle at salted caramel fares better. but this is very niceeeee alr!!!

OMG!!! fellow NUS classmates!!! go daily scoop for some sugar fix to refresh your brain!!!

there is a theory to how i placed the ice cream.
we ordered, lychee martini/earl grey and hazelnut chocolate.

lychee martini and earl grey were in the bowl.
hazelnut chocolate with the waffle.

have you wondered why? cause lychee martini and earl grey were considered relatively mild in taste.
suppose if i add chocolate and earl grey tgt, i think the chocolate will overwhelm all the tea taste alr!!!
hence the arrangement!!! ok, i can think this far in 5 seconds. i am amazed by my pea brain.

lychee martini has got no alcohol taste at all.
earl grey didnt have a strong tea taste as expected.

but overall, still good ice cream to indulge!!


and XX got crazy that night. must be too much sugary food.

to end off the night! timer shot hardly work. always out of focus. LOL!!
 

judging from how much i eat, no wonder i cant lose weight at all!! XD XD XD
