Mini Album 3: BALI (Uluwatu; last day)

Did this a while ago!!

Finally finished my last Bali travelogue mini album!

The task was to use the coloured Victorian frames in the cover page of the 3 albums.



And i got my last mini album measurements wrong. T.T
Oh wells.

ADVENTURE words cut using my amazing cameo silhouette.


The negative was being used as a card!


As usual, XX is obessed with #funrun 24 hours a day. He cant put his mind off the game. Truly obsessed. LOL.

Had brunch at Revolver! The food are cheap and good! YAY.
$2.50 flat white is just OMG.


I really love the Photos Stamp Set from Ali Edwards!
I shipped them directly from USA. All the stamps are so pretty!!!!


Stitched a pocket using paper from Webster's pages. (strawberry fields collection)


Made a border using MT washi tapes! Bought ALOT of them from Japan and love them all.

Used my camero silhouette to cut a digital stamp out! HAHAHA.

Bali day 3: Revolver; Ulu watu

Its my last day in Bali.

How time flies.  Time only flies when you are overseas and don have to work. HAHAHAHA.

But, Bali has been amazing.
I have been blessed with good weather and i have taken nice photos.
I am thankful.

Good weather = nice weather = I have a good mood = I love the place.
Weird equation, i know.

Nvm, maybe i wont complain. Afterall, its your companion that counts right?

Here's photos of the 4 person villa that i stayed for the last 2 days!
Lots of mosquitoes. But lots of memories.





Breakfast that was so mediocre, it a waste of my calories. LOL.


Went to dip in the pool for a little while. Bathe. Pack our bag and ready to go for round 2 of food!
The breakfast is not satisfying at all.

Revolver! I only had time for one brunch. TSK.
Brunch restaurants in Bali are MUCH CHEAPER compared to Singapore.

Due to time constraint, i only have time to visit one.

Love the coffee. love the ambiance. Most importantly, not painful for the wallet.

Waited for the hotel staff to pick us up to return and check out!
Went to Ulu Watu directly and it was awesome (minus the sun).

ULU WATU

It was so hot, i can barely open my eyes. The best time to go to ulu watu is in the evening, where you witness the sunset. There is minimal shade there.


Nature at it's best.




I love Ulu watu as much as Tanah Lot.
Don ask me which is better. Both are equally good and worth a visit!



Anyway, Ulu Watu is said to have ALOT of monkeys. And these monkeys are mischievous and notorious . They will disturb you and attempt to take any loose items that you have. Take care of your belongings!

For example, Spectacles, sunglasses, cameras, pouch.
I am sure the monkey was the culprit.


But it was so hot that day, all the monkeys went hiding.
And there is hardly anyone visiting ulu watu!
HAHAHA.

Hi Indian Ocean. You are majesticccc.


Scenic cliffs. Ocean waves roaring. Crashing waves. Whats not to love?


Its an amazing experience and place.

Btw. Its a must to wear a sarong before you can enter.



Btw, you come Ulu watu NOT for the temple okay. The temple is really small and most of it is under renovation/reconstruction. Most come here for the scenic views instead.

There are alot of temples in Bali anyway, So you should not think of coming Ulu watu to see temples! You cant enter the temple as well.

My only advice is, "dress light, wear comfy shoes, spam sunblock, drinks lots of water" if you are visiting here in the afternoon.

Don ask me why my "twist" is tilted. LOL.

The fabulous views will always remain in my heart.

Went off for late lunch! Finally, Balinese food on the menu!

Although i dont really like it, at least i tried it before. I dont like anything dry or fried food.
Oh, i am not really a rice person as well. HAHA.

I am so picky omg.


But then again, when you are hungry, you eat everything. HAHA.



This conclude my 3 days in Bali.

Truly amazing.
Truly beautiful.
Truly memorable.

And i am thankful to meet a reliable driver.

Mini Album 2: BALI (Road trip)

Hi all!!

I am back with another mini album! I intend to make 3 albums to complete my Bali trip.
I blogged about the first album here!

Here's Bali mini album 2.

Papers from Dear lizzy collection! Love love their papers. I am in love with anything flowery based. I am exceptionally girly when it comes to scrapbooking. HAHAHA. Although i am nothing close to being girly in real life.

But i realise the papers that you choose doesnt really make a difference, Cause all the photos and embellishments would have covered most of the paper alr.

Oh wells. But i still love their papers! HAHAHA. #excuses


I made used of a Project Life (PL) journalling card as the main focus. Its from the travel theme project life cards by Becky higgins. I added a car wood veneer in it to emphasize that its a road trip ahead!

Die cut embellishments at the side is from the Open road collection by Crate paper.

Most of my scrapbooking comes from my holiday photos, Therefore, i have a tendency to buy anything related to travelling. Open road collection fits the bill perfectly, although its a little boy-ish with the colours. Aish. HAHA.

The blue frame was to make it consistent with my Bali Mini album 1.
Album 2 measures 5.5" X 6" as well, because i wanna make it consistent!

Likewise, i sew-stitch the papers together to make it an album.


Love journalling cards. They allow me to add alot more details to my album.



I added word stickers that has a transparent base to add more details. HAHAHA.

To my album more interesting, i sew a "pocket" to insert my PL card. Thats a vellum page btw.

But i totally missed the point. I made it like any other normal page. Nvm, lesson learnt. HAHAHA.


Love all my travelling based stamps as well!! HAHAHAHA.
All so useful.


Yes,the snake is my friend. Hence, the stamp, "Hello friend". ROFL.
Its my zodiac!


I used a PL card to make a flap. Say hello to "sesame open door".

The leave wreath die cut is from a digital stamp by Kim Stewart for Studio Calico. I made it into a cut file and used my Cameo Silhouette to cut it out.
Why so pretty!






Life is beautiful. Indeed. To be able to breathe, smile, travel and see the world. Everyone is working hard to survive, Be it in Singapore or anywhere around the world.

While I may complain and rant. i am contented and grateful when i sit down quietly and reflect about life.

Confession: I bought the Teresa Collins Designs - Save The Date Collection - Clear Acrylic Stamps because, i really love the quote. But, i got it during a sale from Mapletreehouse. So its not that expensive. HAHAHA. #excuses


Tanah Lot is so beautiful. "I will remember and treasure this day always" is an appropriate quote.
I blogged abt it here.


Yup, i used a clear printed plastic as one of my pages as well. Even though there's so much details in it, it kind of defect the purpose. HAHA.


And lastly, sunset nv fail to amaze me.
