if you think hotels in hkg is too expensive, then you have come to the right place! HAHAHA.
i also think the hotels too expensive alr. i paid $100 SGD per person, per night last yr. LOL.
so not worth it. not like the room is very big or what. tsk!
yes, i am a very poor person. i rather spend on food and clothes!
hotel/hostel is just a place for me to slp. LOL.

yes, its a hostel/holiday hotel.
but fret not, its not some dirty hostel where prostitutes walk in and out, nor is it some very dirty hostel where its very unsafe.
i have heard some very VERY horrifying stories about hostels in HKG from XX's friend before i go hkg..
which got me freaked out.
the door cant lock properly.
the space below the bed is so dirty, it could potentially house a rat. 0.O (!!)
ppl of all sorts (like bad ppl) stays in the hostel.
since hostel is much MUCH cheaper than hotels, it cant be good.
so! XX and i came up with a back up plan.
we will change to hotel if, IF the hostel is really unsuitable for our stay there.
HAHAHA.
my XX got very worried by what his friends say, abt the fact that the door cant be locked tightly.
did i say my XX friend got "raped" before? HE went backpacking and stayed in a hostel. so one day he woke up with a very pain ass. 0.O
he KNEW that must have happened. They/he managed to unlock the door somehow. the first thing he do when he reach Singapore is to check for AIDS.
so my XX freaked out even more. LOL.
literally, i went to hongkong with a heavy mind, fearing for the worst that i may need to find a better place to slp. LOL.
i rather pay than to slp in fear.
BUT! TO MY DISMAY.

the lift area has CCTV and the hostel itself has CCTV too!!
at the lift at ground floor.
oh oh oh! i must say that, the hostels i walk pass, doesnt seem to install CCTV in their hostels!
(CCTV not cheap ma!) so hor, only go GEO HOME HOLIDAY HOSTEL K.
its very safe. don worry that its not safe. (:
the CCTV is watched 24 hours by the workers! HAHAHA.
Mr CHAI even showed me his room with a mega size TV plus the CCTV at the side so he can constantly see if sth is amiss at night.
definitely not entered by some tim tom harry at night. LOL.

if you think that bringing your lappy overseas is a hassle!
fret not! there is FREE wifi!! (free for the first 30 mins. but i don think you can use so long leh?)
and!! the workers are SUPER DUPER VERY friendly ppl!
able to speak Mandarin and English! so no worries abt communication!
you feel happy talking to them, cause they are so friendly and forever full of smiles.
ask them anything you don know abt hkg/tourist attractions!
there are a few books on the shelf for you to take a look too!
they organised day trips touring around macau/hkg too!

abt $20 SGD per person per night.
since its just $20 SGD, the room is actually quite small.
and toilet is also quite small. but i think its enough for you to bathe and shit. LOL!
(might be a little difficult for tall ppl la. my xx knock his head before. LOL.)
they will clean the room and change the bed sheets everyday!
and will wash the toilet too.
its really worth it for $20 SGD per night!
besides, the location is good!
near to the MTR! (either prince edward or mongkok. the walking distance is abt the same)
but i think its nearer from prince edward! easier to walk too!! (less construction gg on.)
the location damn good leh!
considering the price and place plus the safety-ness, i don see why you shouldnt stay here!
LASTLY, this one very very impt.
the bus to the airport is just right below the building.
tkae E21 from the hostel to the airport. alight at a underground basement. doesnt matter if your plane is at T1 or T2. the bus stop is in the middle of T1 and T2. LOL.
T1 is on your left. T2 is on your right. (by the bus direction)
take bus A21 from the airport to the hostel.
i tell you. this pt is god damn important.
whyie?
imagine you have one biggggggggggggggggggggg luggage and one hard carry.
and you need to drag it all the way to the MTR and change train.(i think you got to change train THRICE!!)
and the cost of taking the bus is a freaking $14 HKD.
pay by cash! you cant refund your octopus card at the airport alr! so make sure you refund your octopus card at the MTR before boarding the bus!
but taking the airport express need abt $60 HKD.
travelling time wise, both is abt the same. abt 1 hour. to be save, board the bus 1.5 hours before check in k!
the bus brings you to alot of ulu place. LOL. but there is hardly any ppl boarding the bus la.
so, take the bus! its cheaper, and save your effort of dragging the luggage.
i must remind and warn you first, to access their MTR, you need to carry your luggage BY HAND yourself down the stairs to the station.
there is no such thing as a lift, like Singapore, which brings you to the ground lvl.
imagine carrying a 20-25 kg luggage. your hands will break lifting your luggage down the stairs.. LOL.
save the trouble and effort. take the bus! (:
its right below the building nia! you don even have the walk much! 15 meters from the lift brings you to the bus stop alr!
the bus comes at every 15 mins interval before 4 pm. (:
there will be a place for you to put your luggage.
