Girlfriend outings. (:

ok. this entry is supposed to be up long ago, but i have other entries to post, so it got pushed back.

in fact, girlfriends meetup like this should be made monthly, cause it chase my working blues and downs away. HAHAHA. i swear its medicinal tool for happiness and joy to tide you through work. its so damn effective, i am in all smiles at work. HAHAHA.

p/s: why my hair look like this!! LOL.
Photobucket

dinner at red pig.
Photobucket

and honestly, i don know what is so nice with red pig. i don think the marinated meat is very fantastic and its not cheap at all. i have no idea how all those raving food reviews come abt.
Photobucket

each plate cost at $20. and each person has to order a plate each.
they forced you to order, but you don have a choice anyway, cause the potion for each plate isnt very big.
Photobucket

side dishes!!
Photobucket
seriously, if my table got 4 person, how can there be only 3 slices of egg! LOL.
egg are non refillable!!

the tofu is fab though. (:

kimchi and vege for detox!
Photobucket

all in all, the bill sum up to be $167.
very ex for 7 ppl, when there are not a lot of meat present in the first place.

of course, if there are quality to the meat, price is justified. but apparently, it failed my taste buds terribly, and i will not head there again. LOL. i think i have far nicer food at a lower price. and this is just ridiculous with the price i paid. LOL.

HAHAHA. i am really not trying to be mean, but the food just doesnt appeal to me. maybe you will like it. but i hate it. i have picky taste buds and the weirdest sense of taste.

head over to a cafe called shots at ann siang hill.
a very quiet chill out place for desserts or girly talks.
Photobucket

its a cafe that serves mostly coffee and cakes .
i ordered a cup of hot hazelnut latte! so nice pls.
Photobucket

and the best thing abt the cafe? they make some really awesome coffee art!!
check this out!

Photobucket

Photobucket

i cant bear to drink my coffee. HAHA.
seems a waste to destory the master pc. LOL.

don you think its a piece of art!! ^^
i left the cafe telling the lady, "hello!! YOU MAKE SOME REALLY AWESOME COFFEE ART!!!"

i hope i made her day. her efforts paid off.

love this shot i took for LH!! so young!!
Photobucket

and this shot reminds me of how we pass each other the online loots cause we camp for one another.
so the next natural thing we did; everyone started trying the items to see the fit before deciding if we should hunt the item down.

HAHAHA. damn epic pls.

the toilet is ma chiam ours. LOL.

ended with night with happy spirits.
say yeah to more girlfriend outings like these!!

so fun and its totally therapeutic to the mind. heh.

----

next gf outing that taken place last week!

there is hardly a ramen restaurant that nails down to being my favourite. cause i am so picky with my food. HAHAHA.

no, ippudo is not my favourite ramen restaurant..

there are a few that makes the list, and Marutama Restaurant is one of them. Chef wee brought Yiting and i here 3 yrs ago and i like this ever since. its authentic ramen.
Photobucket

Photobucket

i have no idea what is the name of this restaurant i visited 3 yrs ago.
i called it the ramen restaurant with a basketball icon.

fel said, "its a basketball icon with a mole."
HAHAHA.

this is so funny.

there are only 3 kinds of ramen.
normal base, normal spicy base or the vegetable base?? not much variety.

Photobucket

ramen FTW!

ordered extra porky. OMG. the fatty meat that melts in your mouth. SO NICE. its divine.
give me this nowwww.

its the sinful, full of cholesterol, fatty, melt-in-your-mouth slices of braised pork belly known as chashu that makes me a really happy girl. heh. lets just close 2 eyes, forget abt health and indulge. life's awesome.

its so tender and moist. full of fat, so its full of collagen, good for woman. heh.

no, i am not exaggerating!! NO!!
-sense YT and Val mocking at me now-

OMG. so nice laaaaaaaaaaaa.

DO YOU FEEL LIKE EATING ALR!!!
HAHAH,

$6
Photobucket

extra chashu pork that is in your ramen. $4

pork dumplings!
Photobucket

i nv ordered this dish before, but i think this is very nice. but MH say the standard kind of dropped.

a thick and creamy broth; there is no short cut, only produced by simmering hours after hours of chicken bones and ribs to extract the essence.(its chicken based soup, so i reckoned its chicken bones?)

the broth got so flavourful and rich, which also make the broth ridiculously thirsty as well. probably due to the msg added in for the added flavour.

else the soup wont be so nice de la. lets face it, its the MSG era.

Photobucket

i like the ramen that is full of fragrance vegetables!! some may not like it though!
all of us added an extra egg. but fel didnt like egg yolk, so she offered me the extra egg yolk!
Photobucket
like a sun!!

i thought the egg is slightly overcooked, cause the yolk didnt gush out with you remove it from the egg white!!

but, once the membrane is pieced through, all the yolk high cholesterol awesome-ness is out.

done with dinner and we head off for desserts!!
there is always, ALWAYS room for desserts in my dictionary.
heh.

shoes present for the day!! and i am the only one in flats. BOO!!
shortie is me. XD
Photobucket

and we went to haato!! its my favourite ice cream shop for black sesame.
Photobucket

but we ordered sth different that day! green tea and cookie and cream.

a tub of awesome-ness. cost abt $12 per tub for 500ml, which is very worth it for 5 person. cause if  we were to order individually, it will probably cost $20 for 5 cups of ice cream. of course, that will mean, we only have 2 flavours for such a big tub. HAHAH.
Photobucket
still worth it to order a tub though!

ordered waffles as well. oh-so-nice!!
Photobucket
so thick and fluffy!! awesome. heh.

and then, we got high with the extra lightings trying to brighten/perfect the photo in the dark
HAHAHAHA.
Photobucket

photos from MH camera!
