My birthday on 19 July 2012.

yeah. i am back here, in an attempt to save my blog. from being abandoned. HAHAHA.

kudos to friends who are constantly blogging. their hardworking-ness and diligency makes me guilty.

AISH. i thought, i am constantly updating my life here alr. apparently not. look at the blog roll at the side.

WOOHOO!! i turned 23.

maybe i shouldnt even be happy. i aged. and woman hates ageing.

a constant reminder that things are no longer the same.

more responsibilities. more temptations. more things to buy. a bursting wardrobe.

SIGH.

but, at 23 this yr.

i think, i actually changed for the better. i hope.

1.

i have been constantly exercising. be it running or bikram. (XX say he doesnt know me anymore. i am crazy abt running lately)

actually, i am secretly enjoying the process of sweating.

the focus. the determination. the concentration. the aim. the results. even though i gained them all back recently. despite losing them all. HAHAHAHA. numbers shall always be numbers.

i swear bikram helps you to focus. the essence to stretch in the opposite directions by focusing and balancing. think of nth, ignore perspiration dripping down your thighs, calf and arms. just concentrate with your reflection in the mirror. look straight, stretch. lengthen. balance. maintain.

i enjoy each and every session of bikram i go. every lesson, i emerge a stronger person, doing better than previous. to stretch and relax. to rejunvate in the 1.5 hours. to burn 800 calories. (the teacher amazing said that. HAHA.)

bikram is amazing. so is running.

exercising nv feel so good. to sweat and think of nth. just a starting and ending pt.

all thanks to YT who got all of us motivated working towards a healthier body and mind.

i am secretly enjoying the personal time i have with myself while running too.

i think of nth. just breathing in and out. see the sky change from shades of light blue to midnight blue.

say yeah.

2.

i am a happier person.

(ya la. i know la. you think i am forever happy) no. i am not. LOL.

sad to say, i have my own share of problems.

no. i mean. i am happy and contented

and let things go naturally. to let nature takes it path.

directions will come to me somehow.

there will be a route showing me light, somewhere. somehow. sometime.

i shall be positive.

3. erm. cant think of yet.

i am. shall save $$. shall is a wrong word. i need to save $$. with $1400 needed to do my root canal. i need to save desperately indeed.

i shall start selling.

my mama decided to put all my tops/skirts everything in my mini wardrode. (our wardrobe is being divided equally to hang our clothes) and honestly, my 1/3 space is actually running out of space. each hanger has got like 2 tops/3 bottoms.

its exploding. usually i fold my bottoms. 0.O

now, its a scary reminder when everything is placed together.

i wonder if that is a reminder from mama that i need to clear my wardrobe/ stop buying anymore. HAHAHAHA.

a wake up call indeed. i can so see my XX shaking his head.

anyway. there is a start to the intended entry!

took off on my birthday. cause it will be too emoing if i were to head for work on my birthday. LOL.

19 July 2012 is coincidentally, the date of the official release of The Dark Knight Rises. Price at $36 per ticket, cause its a GOLD CLASS ticket. HAHAHA.

BUT. i didnt pay for it. neither did XX pay for it. its was a lucky draw prize from D &D.
HAHAHAHA.

i am happy though! to have different experience on my birthday. furthermore, its the official launch date of batman! how memorable is that.

truth is. i like ironman/batman more than any other heros.
there are no monsters. (it just doesnt make sense to see lizards/monsters creating massive mayhem in the real world. LOL. no standard predictable plot of a superhero saving the planet after killing the monster.)


nonetheless, its awesome watching GOLD CLASS. i can literally, sleep inside cause the seats can be lowered until, 130 degrees down. HAHAHA. even though XX didnt like GOLD CLASS at all. LOL.
cause he cant sit close to me. tsk.

 happy to be in a slping position enjoying my movie. HAHAHA.
 

 but, to pay $36 per person for this, i don think its worth it la. XD just for an experience!
oh, its really very cozy though. i like how a blanket is provided to keep you warm.

ma chiam watching movie at home. HAHAHA.
just that you have a super duper wide screen and a good stereo system.

its a very small bakery, situated at a very ulu place, well hidden in the older blocks of HDB. under normal circumstances, you wont walk there/pass though there. LOL.

in order to make themselves feel good, they spend money to torture themselves. all for the name of beauty.

i swear, this is officially my favourite restaurant now. i shall bring my hippos there for a meal one day. ^^
its not only awesome for dinning. its very cheap too!

for a truly magical culinary experience. if you nv tried french food. you should come here for a visit. especially when the food will leave you in awe.




and, i have reasons to say so. check out the amt of newspaper/magazine articles outside the restaurant.

and i head there on a weekday night.
the huge turnout actually make me wait for 30 mins just for a table. reservation not accepted.

hence, you know you are in for a treat and the food will not disappoint.
budget friendly. good french cuisine for the price you pay.


truth is, i have a hard time believing how they still managed to keep the low prices, despite the steep rent at bugis. LOL.

no wonder, this restaurant is a success; to draw crowds and make them wait, patiently. surprisingly good culinary food with record breaking prices. you just have to come here and pay a visit.


 

$6.90 spaghetti. yes, those were tiger prawns and caviar. (!!!) its a super for value angel-hair pasta. don belittle this bowl of spaghetti. its very delish. i am a little stunned and shocked when i attempted to put a bowlful of these into my mouth. OMG. when is the last time i have such nice pasta!!!!

olive oil goodness. DIVINE. (so its oily. XD) 100 marks for a $6.90 pasta in terms of taste and presentation.

i would have ordered another bowl if not for the long queue. LOL.
er, there is a $3.90 version of pasta too. sherry-minced pork and sakura ebi like !!!!! i wonder what they earn.

not a big bowl though. everyone should just order a bowl of this, EACH.

OMEGA 3!!!! OMG. this salmon is superbly nice. restaurant standard lor pls.
i need like, to order alot of plates of this the next time i am here. HAHAHA. ok la, at least 2 plates. LOL.

honestly, i don really like this. i like the cheapo angel hair pasta and salmon more. apparently they are famous for this. maybe i just don know how to appreciate it. HAHAHA.

my eyes literally went O.O when i took my first mouthful of these. bursting of flavours of citrus.
its sour. its citrus. its WOW.

comprising of blood red orange pudding, shave ice of orange, segments of freeze-dried pineapples, grape fruit, orange, lemon and topped with corn flake like flakes.

there are many many different textures in this. and hence, i highly recommend this. ^^



this is a must try.
