Tbh, this is the ONLY nice view in the temple.
And, i cant imagine what you can do during other periods of the yr. I mean, at least i get to see a variety of green/red/yellow in autumn.

LOL.

Exit the temple 15 mins ltr. HAHA. And here's the highlight of the day. There is an exit at the back of the temple that leads you directly to the bamboo forest.

There's no admission ticket needed to the bamboo forest. ITS FREE. YAY.
You can enter from the street, without gg through the temple as well.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Please come to the bamboo forest everyone!

This is one of my favourite photo taken in Japan. Keep calm and have peace.

And the famous Togetsukyo Bridge. I have no idea why this bridge is so famous. But ppl say, if you come Kyoto and didnt pay a visit here, you are said to nv come Kyoto.

Seriously? I really thought there are better MUST VISITS in Kyoto.
photo P1020985_zpszhwaz8rd.jpg Nonetheless, here's a photo! Been here. Done here. photo P1020989_zps2dqwxosg.jpg photo P1020991_zpssisfiujo.jpg

And we head for lunch!

This restaurant.
 photo P1030001_zpsekr56ybh.jpg

Serve decent and cheap food. The curry is really good!
Do come here if you are nearby! We thought long and hard which restaurant is cheap/looks good.
HAHAHAH.

(btw, skip the egg with soba. It looks kind of yucky after you mix it)
